It's a shame, I thought OTH was stronger than that, it's gonna deteriorate like the OC. Should end it with grace at the end of this season. It won't be the same without Chad, Sophia I can live with, her character has become too self involved

This is my favourite show by far, and i've been watching it for years. I kinda think it's about time to end it though while the going's still good. I have a feeling that if this is not the last season, the show will go downhill. My favorite seasons were 1,2,3,4. Season 5 and 6 are alright, but they can't even come close to what OTH was before. sometimes actors just need to move on from certain projects. If season 6 is the end bc Chad and Sophia turned down the contract it just means that they are taking steps that they feel are better for themselves and their career. Sorry people, One Tree Hill is not ending. Sophia actually likes to do the show and wants to do it. She said she wants to do it as long as people still want to watch it.
Wikipedia is wrong, people can go edit that kind of stuff. The actors contracts end after six years so that is why people are getting confused, but so far there is no official news.
And fans, the director and writters say that they still have material for AT LEAST two or three more seasons.

It's a shame, I thought OTH was stronger than that, it's gonna deteriorate like the OC. Should end it with grace at the end of this season. It won't be the same without Chad, Sophia I can live with, her character has become too self involved

from my own opinion I prefer Lucas (chad) to leave than Brooke (sophia). But I think they couldn't make the show without either of them, just look if Lucas die Peyton would not get over it but it's the same as if it's Brooke. I actually thougt that Peyton and Lucas could leave town for their wedding and be happy but it would be a big part of the show leaving :/ well i hope they'll both sign
Sophia is just too great I don't think she'll give up on OTH, well I hope so :(

This is my favourite show by far, and i've been watching it for years. I kinda think it's about time to end it though while the going's still good. I have a feeling that if this is not the last season, the show will go downhill. My favorite seasons were 1,2,3,4. Season 5 and 6 are alright, but they can't even come close to what OTH was before. I have to say i'll miss it alot when it's over.

They r parents in this season ,next season will definately be on some thing that is more mature and as far as im concerned wont be as gr8 as 1,2,3,4 so i think they should have a good ending at the end of this season.

sometimes actors just need to move on from certain projects. If season 6 is the end bc Chad and Sophia turned down the contract it just means that they are taking steps that they feel are better for themselves and their career. I would be sad if season 6 was the last but if it is, I'm still gonna be happy because the show was there.

i love one tree hill as much as anyone if not more, but it has been such an amazing, inspiring show that it's too special to do a spinoff. like, for example, the notebook. an amazing movie, but it has to end there. there is no second part that could ever be as amazing as the first....that's how
one tree hill is.

i disagree with you. there are a lot more leyton fans than brucas fan. true fans keep on watching. it's stupid if you quit watching for brucas, because then you wouldn't be watching brooke, either. i am a huge leyton fan, but if he picked brooke, of course i would still watch it! there's only one tree hill....

i hope this is not true but i do respect sophia is this is her decision. her performance has been great through the show. even after the break up. it might always been a torture for her performing with chad. but she made it so professional. i love her really.

i'm in singapore and they don't have OTH at all. they stopped at season 2. and never wanted to continue. so i find my ways to watch it. only watched the first ep today. peyton and lucas are married. brooke's kind of alone. but she's still my fave of all!
