  • holy cow that's a big floater

  • why not do a vitrectomy i havefloaters and they are very annoying and ive change my living habbitis because of it. i went to get the lazer treament dne in VA and the doctor said that the floaters were to close to the retina and that he was unable to preform the treatment. only option now is to get a Vitrectomy!

  • Will this treatment be available in other countries over USA in the next years?

    Great results, there's still hope...

  • Dear Dr. Johnson -- was this considered to be a WEISS RING and how do I know if I have that or just a massive glob like this one? I know my doc saw a huge one, because he said he definitely saw the 'floater' very prominently.

  • Im gonna hope in future they find a real Harmless, risk free drug for floaters where it can dissolve the floaters without surgery

  • @skux23 This is without surgery! This is done in a few minutes, with no invasion.

  • Does this treatment have any chance of messing up your eyes because I wouldn't want any chance to mess up my eyes over an inconvienience.

  • @MagicMan2475 NO, it has a better track record than of LASIK. The worst thing that can happen is that it doesn't get it all, but if you have a BIG SUCKER like I do, they can zap it to nearly nothing which should improve your psyche considerably.

  • Wow .... im extremely suffering under floaters ... unfortunately i'm living in germany. Even to get treatment in cases of retinal detachment and other realy worse deseases isn't easy here. In competition to the medicine in USA, germany is stone-age

  • @agt334 That's funny. Obamacare claims that the US is behind... but really this is where everyone comes for treatment. There are a handful of docs who do this procedure, in CA, VA, and Florida. I would say any country is stone age when it comes to medical advancements.

  • @agt334 TO get rid of this floaters shit i would spend lots of money traveling to the US and finding a real good doctor. But complications must be really low. Low means no risk of cataract and becoming blind. But I dont think the lasers give less complications otherwise this information would be spread through the doctors world.

  • @agt334 Are you sure about that? I'm surprised. I thought Germany had a very modern and affordable healthcare system.

  • One day i will visit Dr.Johnson, not because i'm 100 % sure that it will work with me but because at least i tryed with the best option available.

Thank you for all your information,Dr J.
