  • Stephen Fry's Army here :)

  • Was that Barney - he was purple, not orange!

  • @ericessable Yes, but Barney is trademarked, and they (the Barney producers) aggressively prosecute any infringement. That, and orange is funnier than purple.

  • dear bronies,

  • Comment removed

  • this is like my friend ranting about superman

  • I'm glad I'm not as nerdy as this guy, especially since I'm finally growing into some of my parents' demands that address their concerns about me like I should've been when I was a teenager, and I'm pretty sure helping out around the house is no exception.

  • Oh God!

Animaniacs predicted the rise of the internet nerd.

  • KILL HIM WITH FIRE!....oh, flame at your own risk? hmmm....

  • I love you animaniacs. I seriously do

  • Ah, the 90s, when everything could be solved by mallets, anvils, and Baloney =D

  • I feel so sad and pathetic, because that guy almost looks like me. :(

  • @Rubberman202 which guy?

  • @DestinyBell864 The one at the beginning... although I'm not balding. Yet...

  • @Rubberman202 I feel the same way, especially since ending up like that has triggered so much concern in my parents, especially since I know they're supposed to rescue me from the evil clutches of immorality.

  • TV Tropes ruined my life.

  • Actually Hair opened before 1970...please don't sic Baloney on me.

  • inception.

i don't think it means what we think it means....

  • Bronies on Memebase seriously need to watch this.

  • @Katana314 UGH-reed. Bronies truely reflect the stereotypical fanboys shown here. The Sonic fanbase should also take a gander at this, since they nitpick the LIVING HELL out of the games. *caughs* Rich Kuta *caughs*

  • Someone mentions TV tropes, then the whole comments section starts (excuse my 4chanese) samefagging.

  • I have donated over 100 dollars to this foundation ever since it cured me of my Internet/cartoon addiction. I was handled with the most loving and caring way as I was beaten senseless with a large mallet. All the doctors there were the nicest people I have met(although they still wouldn't show me their degrees). Thank you, Please Please Pleese Get A Life foundation. I am typing this from my mansion thanks to you.

  • Did he say "whore" at 1:16?

  • [INSERT FANBASE] in a nutshell.

  • Comment removed

  • Anyone remember at 2:00 that guy sounds like PJ from the Goofy movie?

  • average TV Tropes user

  • @MoneksZ TV Tropes links here. Which could be considered ironic, but they've been known for self-deprication.

  • It's so relevant today it's criminal.

  • @Quicksilver1111

    SO TRUE!

  • But, then TV Tropes wouldn't exist!

  • @Mitakashiku

    TV Tropes SHOULDN'T exist, period.

  • Man DoucheyMcNitpic in Animaniacs. :D

  • lolz please please please get a life foundation i would laught if this place was real

  • Ponyfags in a nutshell.

  • @Poppy6644 No.

    They would enjoy Baloney.

  • @ParadoxJuice .....what?

  • Technically the Woodstock-Hair reference is accurate, because Hair originally opened on Broadway in 1967.

  • @yodadude666 points for not getting the joke

  • Were the Warners actually created in 1929, or was that just a gag in the show?

  • 1: Watch cartoon.

2: Replace certain dialouge with "My little pony" related trivia in your head.

    3: ...

    4: SELF PROFIT!!!

  • @coolchillrock JUST about to say that! XD

  • The sign on the the door says 'Flame at your own rick' for some reason I find that funny.

  • Yummy yum yum!!!

  • Thumbs up if u rewinded to see what was in the begining....... before Yakko said that....

  • Douchie Mcnitpick needs to see this.

  • Show of thumbs if you think the bronies should be sent here...

  • ...is there one for anime? or does this cover everything? if so, my friend from elementary school needs to get a life regarding the story about blood sucking pixies.

  • This is pretty much how most of those MLP fags behave.

  • @KyFriedPlatypus It's an animation nerd thing in general. Bronies are just more conspicious. Thirty minutes on TV Tropes should pretty much demonstrate that MOST shows have a fandom which at least partially consists of this sort of thing.

  • 3:22 LMAO

  • I bet these guys are now successful video game and movie reviewers on the internet.

  • Also, 2:58 - Hair opened in 1968, you lame excuse for an obsessive nerd.

  • alt.tv.simpsons in general.

  • Anyone else notice and then decide whether it was a good idea or not to point out that the person posting this video wrote "pleese" instead of "please" on the last word of the title? Although this slightly subverts it since it is in static bold letters over the video.

  • @etherraichu It has been pointed out to me that this is the case in the end of the episode. The loud noises hurt my head so i stopped watching after the anvil drop. But yes, I do find it funny too.

  • A LIFE? Where is it?! Where can I download this 'Life'? I'll take 2!

  • This describes wrestling fan faggets

  • Ok... so I MAY have checked what was in the room at the opening shot before Yakko warned me...

  • how many people here checked every one of those facts just to see if they;re true or not

  • As a geek, I feel insulted.

  • @dAMMDb Well, it's less insulting than just plain boring.

  • Hey I didn't give them the right to use my likeness

  • 3:29

he's talking about the fact that the rope magically appeared at 2:49

    and the cup at 3:10

I think I'll call them now

  • I want an "I llove minerva" poster!

  • lol this is so violent compared to todays shows

  • i need a life cause i saw the "flame at your own risk" poster on the door

  • The sign on the door at the beginning says "flame at your own risk". Yes I did rewind the video to check this out, do I need to get a life?

  • Typical TGWTG user.

  • @CrazyCheeseMagee

    More like typical TGWTG reviewers.

  • This guy predicted with 100% accuracy what the internet would become a decade later.

  • We need the Warners to cleanse the internet right now!

  • Because the show obviously had no female fans.

    Yeah, sure.

  • the saddest thing about this clip is we all know someone like this.

  • @HyperMoeMan And if you don't know someone like this, you ARE someone like this. :P

  • @Bigdavebeast42 true sad but true

  • I really am starting to think that this show was really for adults.

  • i got a life, because he said the 3 please is spelled wrong.

    I didn't notice that.

  • im getting the subtle vibe that i need a life. thanks mom!

  • Actually, technically Hair opened on Broadway in 1968, so that was an accurate joke.

  • I'm possibly THE ONLY ONE that wanted the dude's water tower in the beginning shot XD

  • I don't feel like getting a life :3

  • Did you notice the third "please" was misspelled with two E's?

    I think that was intentional!!!

  • This is one of the best things I've seen on Animaniacs!

    2:01 is Rob Paulsen! :D

  • Yes, except for the sock thing

  • Yes, except for the sock thing

  • yes except for the sock thing

  • yes except for the sock thing

  • Are you a grown adult wasting your life by looking up old cartoons that you watched 15 years ago as a child on the internet? Did you already know that this clip was talking DIRECTLY to you? Did you, in fact, actually rewind back to the point Yakko was talking about?

Then you really need the Please, please, PLEESE Get A Life Foundation!

  • @Davethe3rd You act as if I should be insulted by this clip. Me, I try to keep a sense of humor about my geekiness.

Seriously, though- are you trying to be insulting? Because I can't tell.

  • @tymime I was being more insulting to MYSELF than anyone else. I'm feeling like I'm getting too old to feel good about wasting time watching old cartoons... I guess I'm growing up...

  • @Davethe3rd There's no shame in enjoying quality entertainment, cartoon or not.

Anyone who tries to convince you otherwise is a fucking idiot.

  • @Davethe3rd and the guy who trolls people who are nostalgic, doesn't?

  • @BWS891 I was trolling myself for watching it actually. I'm feeling like a bit of an ass-clown looking up old cartoons from 15 years ago...

  • @Davethe3rd hmmm, yeah, i get that too sometimes. but then my inner child gives me a raspberry and says 'poo you'

  • @Davethe3rd hmmm, yeah, i get that too sometimes. but then my inner child gives me a raspberry and says 'poo you'

  • Sicking Blarney on patients who need to get a life. Defintely cruel and unusual punishment. Love it!

  • You know this sketch was done in response to furries stalking the voice actors as well, right?

    Troo story, bro.

  • @Takeshi357 No, it isn't. It was just poking fun at (and with) the fans on the Usenet newsgroup alt.tv.animaniacs. They even showed it to a group of us in person a month before it aired.

  • Gosh and Golly Uckems! Its' My Yummy Yum Fun Fun Yummy fun yum yum friendaloo! HooHoo!

  • You know, Fridge Brilliance kicks in once you realize who does the 'Good Idea, Bad Idea' voice... Tom Bodett.

As in the Motel 6 radio spokesman, when the campaign's signature line was "We'll keep the light on for you".

  • 2 People climbed a mountian lion...

  • I wish there was a real place like this....I need to go there

  • The third please is spelled with 2 Es. It makes this un enjoyable.

  • its called ocd

  • socks practically stand up by themselves..goodnite everybody! haha

  • At 2:10...that's Carl's past life. :o Poor dude lost You Risk Your Life, apparently, or so I've heard. How sad.

  • When I first saw this, I had no clue what "flame at your own risk" meant.

  • @RockabillyAutopsy ...what does it mean..

  • I need to send my brother here

  • The ulitmate Asperger's Syndrome sterotype.

  • It's like the Comic Book Guy made a cameo on "Animaniacs."

  • You know your to obsessed, when the thing your obsessed with yells at you

    ~ rhodestwin 2

  • @mrguy147 It's Baloney!!! Run for your lives!!!

  • holy crap i remember watching this so much when i was little

  • I like the guy's FLAME AT YOUR OWN RISK poster. XD

  • Uh, what's the number? It could come in handy.

  • Lol, I rewinded because I got suspicious of what he said.

  • flame at your own risks lol

  • I kept wanting to pull my shirt back down watching this.

My shirt was already tucked in when I started watching this and throughout the whole thing.

  • is it bad if u re-wind to see whats in the openimg shot before Yakko said to??

the sad part is im not kidding!

  • his crack is so big he puts drug dealers out of business

  • Normally I don't stoop this low, but this video makes trolling too easy: 1 person who watched this video doesn't have a life.

  • 3:21 IT'S BARNEY LMAO XD

  • I think that 4:03 is an allusion to the bugs bunny cartoon "Hare Ribbin'"

    *Anvil gets dropped*

  • 0:33 I ♥ Minerva

  • Point of the foundation: Get a life or else barney will rape you

  • Comic Book Guy? o_o

  • Is it rigth that you dosent like waxonation? he says that you dosent like him

  • 0:30 buster bunny doll :)

    dizzy doll

    hampton doll

    me wantz those o.o

  • That's certainly "comforting therepy".

  • Watching Fanboy's rant in the beginning made my head spin (I will admit I knew about the "pay OR play " vs. "pay FOR play," but I had heard about pay or play contracts somewhere else). Did/do people really do this? I mean, for a cartoon show?

  • @TheTigerwolf55

    Some do unfortunately

to those who don't live with them it is sad

to those who do live with them(like me) it is a tragity to watch them waste their life.

  • @TheTigerwolf55 Sure, just as they do now. Writer Peter Hastings used an online document called the "Cultural References Guide for Animaniacs" (commonly known as the CRGA) which was a compilation of esoteric facts, references, and nitpicks that fans posted to the Animaniacs newsgroup. Every fact the fanboys state in this cartoon is from an actual post that was compiled into the CRGA. We didn't take ourselves too seriously, though, and loved this episode, which Peter showed to us before it aired.

  • Oh, and contrary to what "mhirtes12" says, there's nothing to do with Falk and Tominak. Each of them has only one entry in the CRGA. I'd never even heard of Tominak -- had to look up the name. Falk was a huge, notorious Tiny Toons fanboy but he wasn't much of an Animaniacs fan. If I recall correctly, he was one of those obsessed TTA fans who held a grudge against Animaniacs for replacing TTA.

  • @Keeper1st hits with hammer*

  • Oh yeah, and he doesn't even get the name of the newsgroup right. These were things posted to alt.tv.animaniacs -- not rec.arts.animation.

  • Laying on a beach...sitting in an office counting money...I don't know what's more disturbing, the nerds who analyze the references, or what the animators consider "getting a life" is.

  • Anyone else reminded of Douchey McNitpick from the nostalgia critics Top 11 Fuck ups?

  • Was the fact at 2:55 - 2:58 even true? "You can see Scratchnsniff for four frames on the magic bus" It's funny!

  • 3:21 OMGAH ITS BALONEY!!!!!!!!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
