The Capital City of Ukraine is Kyiv - article 20 official English translation Ukrainian Constitution - all embassies of the world including Russian and USA use Kyiv. Kyiv translates directly from Ukrainian name Київ - there are many other versions which are old or historic kiev was based on Russian киев which today transaltes into Kyiv as well
