its a movie. If I were you, I'd play the game Final Fantasy VII first, because it's a sequel to that, and I had to watch the movie several times for it to make sense because I had never played FF7

No, they mean Final Fantasy VII for Playstation....One, I guess you call it now. The chronicles go: Crisis Core, Final Fantasy VII, Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children (the movie), I believe. You will understand nada if you don't play FFVII first. lol Like, you'll appreciate it. But you won't understand it.
