  • Si sabe leer español, tu tutorial esta muy feo lo hubieras hecho con imagenes de cerca, en el video solo tu vez como entra el cable

  • I just got hired doing installing and I've never done the job before. I start in a week and really appreciate your video. I will get some training, but every little bit of knowledge helps. Thanks!

  • hello!

in saw your interesting video - thx a lot for it!

do you ship the tools to austria (europe), too?

    best regard, andy

  • @andiwelsaustria we have shipped to Europe (Including Austria) many times but order must be placed directly to our main office. For more information or questions please send e-mail to Sales-at-ABItronix-com since the logistics, duties and payment methods are different. Thank you for your comment, have a great week!

  • When you mention your connectors fit RG6 standard and RG6 quads, does this mean the same connector works with both types of cables OR there are two versions of the connector for each type of cable?

  • @coolspot18 There are different connectors used for Quad-Sheild Coaxial Cable. The P/N usually has a "Q" in it to differentiate it from the standard. I have used an SLCU-6 standard compression connector on Quad and it is difficult to slide over since the O.D. of the Quad Shield Cable is slightly thicker then your standard type Dual Shield Cable. Hope this helps a bit! Thank you for your question

  • Thank you so much! We are glad to help! This video was actually shot with an older web camera that we had. We have since purchased a new camera with more capabilities. Any suggestions for more videos that you would like to see please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks again and keep the suggestions coming.

  • Great, informative video. When doing detailed connections in future videos, please zoom in so we can see more detail.

  • I tried to get my hands on an IT1000 though i'd be looking at atleast £50 and i just cant justify it.... some great alternatives on eBay though..

  • @m1nc3m3at yes for sure. Only recommendation would be to keep in mind to purchase a tool that is set for the 21mm compression connectors. 21mm is the most commonly used compression length (at least in the US). There are many tools out there that are sold on e-bay that compress only 20.3mm and would not work correctly on your connectors. Good Luck!

  • @lakesidewelder PPC are also good.

  • @lakesidewelder let us know if you ever want samples of Hollands SLCU-6 to try out! Thank you for posting your comment

  • Very nice presentation. There's foil that is around the dielectric you don't mention. Should that be left as is?

  • @vince1697 Very good question. On standard RG6 (Dual Shield) there is only one layer of foil covering, you can leave the foil and just pull back the braid over the PVC Jacket, then slide the connector on. On RG6 TRI or QUAD-Shield Coax, I usually peel off one layer of the foil to make it easier for the connector to slide on, leaving the remaining foils in tact.

  • please continue to ask question so as to continueto try to assist as best as we can!

    Thank you for your comments

  • Very nice presentation.
