To say that Boson can't be contenders w/out KG is a lil obvious. U take out one of the top two players on any team (its Pierce or KG for Bos.) n they will have trouble. Look at the Spurs w/out Manu this yr in the playoffs. Or LA b4 Gasol came from Memphis.

I think the Spurs can get past LA (they now can score w/them w/4 legit scorers) but they need some more big men for boards against LA's tall frontcourt. Losing those 3 isn't that bad when u consider their age, productivity n what they got.

I like Boston coming out of the east injuries w/standing. They were clearly the best all-around team in the east. Only the Cavs can compete but they need to pick up some frontcourt players this summer to do so.

I understand ur point about the Spurs being weak w/the frontcourt. They do need a guy that can pound down low besides Duncan.

Still Gooden is more then servicable (esp considering the league's avg. 4 n 5 man are very poor).

Matt Bonner gives them a poor man's Rashard Lewis only in the sense that they got a 4 man that can spread the floor for them.

Unlike Orlando though Tony Parker is a stud (Jameer Nelson n Alston aren't on his level IMO) and hey actually have a 2 man that can score

Bruce Bowen is 38 yrs old, better to get rid of him n get something then to wait until he is worth nothing.

While Bowen did make Kobe work on the offensive end he didn' make Kobe work at all on the defensive end as he is really just a spot up shooter.

As for Boston I think that as long as hey keep Paul Pierce, KG n either Rondo or Allen they'll b back in the Finals.

If Rondo is being a cancer to the team as being reported, why not get rid of him?

Plenty of guys would like to play w/Boston n w/Rondo's stock being at an all-time high there would never be a better time to trade him.
