  • I'm thinking about buying this ukulele! So you can recommend it?

  • @sparriskrigaren Yes, I would definitely recommend this model and Ohana ukes in general.

I don't think you will be disappointed if you decide to buy this particular model or any other Ohana.

  • Very nicely done. That is a wonderful sounding uke!

  • @MsNickie1001 Thankyou!

I actually gave this uke to a friend but it was one of the nicest sounding ukes I have played.

  • So what was the name of the song?

  • @JenniGormley1

The tune is called 'Flow Gently Sweet Afton'.

This arrangement for ukulele is by Ken Middleton.

  • great playing...great sounding uke...

  • @urariotalice Thanks!

    Ohana make excellent ukes!

  • Would you recommened Ohana ukulekes in general?

  • I think Ohana make great ukes and are excellent value for your money. I own two Ohanas and I play both regularly. I would not hesitate to buy another (and probably will one day)

  • what song is this? it is very beautiful

  • lovely sound it has .

  • Is this A concert or tenor?

  • Concert size. It is a lovely little instrument. Excellent value for the price.

  • Thanks for video My ohana uk is arriving tomorrow!

  • Lucky you! Hope you like it as much as I do mine.

  • very sweetly done!

  • Very pretty... Love it.

  • Thanks,

If you like the tune have a listen to Ken Middleton play it. It is his arrangement and he plays it beautifully. My version pales in comparison.

  • I'm a big Ken Middleton fan :-) - but don't sell yourself short. This is great.

  • Beautifully played Derek. My 35G is really easy to play and has lovely tone. yours sounds great

too. Are you pleased with it?

    KEN

  • Thanks Ken,

I actually ordered a cedar top model CK50G but received the mahogany top CK35G by mistake. The seller was very apologetic and I worked out a deal with him on another uke and decided to keep it anyway to avoid having to ship it back to Hawaii. It is a lovely little instrument. Looks great, very easy to play and the intonation is good. Ohana definitely make good quality, relatively inexpensive ukes.

  • Nice sound!...Aquila strings?

  • Thanks,

Yes they are Aquila strings. I have them on all my ukes. I have tried Worth strings and I think they are equally as good but I like the feel of Aquilas better.

  • Lovely sound. I've got CK35G myself and love it.

  • Thanks,

I love the sound of mine too. I recorded the video on a cheap digital camera and it sounds even better in person.
