  • that model store seems like heaven!!! i have never seen so many in 1 place!

  • i have been wondering why they always have the good model brands where the directions are in all japanese.

  • could someone please tell me what he puts into the jar of paint at the end of the video?

  • @mgarandsniper Looks like talcum powder to give some texture to the paint. Given the scale, a "simple" paint would be too smooth maybe...

  • @Platycqb hey thank you.I have this same exact model havent built it yet ,

cause im trying to covert it to rc but thanks for the help.

  • @mgarandsniper convert it to rc*

  • Fact: fat guys make the best models/

  • Is there a place where i can buy a professionally assembled one of these? :P

  • I wish I could build a finished one.

I like it, but I don't think I can put it together myself and make it look THAT good. :S

  • this guy is a goddamn genius

  • I built the other Tamiya Kubelwagen (I'm not sure what scale it was, but it's smaller than this).

It's a great kit. A lot of parts were damaged when I moved, but since it's a Tamiya, I can always order replacements.

Maybe I'll fix it up this summer.

  • WTF??????at 0:48 THAT austin Tilly isnt a Tamiya product!!!!!! its a resin kit..if it is a Tamiya, they have kept quiet about it!!!!.

  • their are a lot of manufacturers in Japan. to name a few, aoshima, fujimi, tamiya, and hasegawa

  • Osaka City is famous for being home to several of them! -I would prefer to visit Osaka rather than Tokyo. :-)

  • Don't forget hasegawa. Also a high quality japanese model company.

  • Hase is not great stuff. I have 10 of their armor kits....bad pie.....

  • You kidding me?

Besides Tamiya, there's Hasegawa, Aoshima, Arii, Kyosho, Dragon, and Academy, just to name a few.

They've got more in Japan that we have in North America. Most of the model kit makers of the 20th century have been bought out by Revell-Monogram or folded.

  • Dragon is chinese (hong-kong), Academy is korean!...Not every asian manufacturer is Japanese, unfortunately. :-(

  • For new people who are getting into modeling tamiya is the best but if you are expert modeler you go for dragon's kits.

  • You ALWAYS go for TAMIYA!!! X:-(

  • they are good but for large tank models dragon models come with better details and photo etched metal parts and they aren't expensive

  • Excellent!

  • I wish I could buy tamiya paints but nobody brings them here and I have to settle with testors or humbrol (lol)

ideally I would like mr.color paints

  • sorry (...)tamiya kit is very good but not ideal(...)

  • J think Tamiya kit is very good but ideal. The Dragon's kit are most better.

  • tamiya kits are the best on the market! injection moulded, with no excess, buy now at your local hobby shop now!!!
