I grew up in Hancock County... Greenfield, Fortville, New Palestine, Mt. Comfort, etc. The area is very racist. Greenfield is one of the most racist cities in the state of Indiana. It's common knowledge if you are from there. Everybody knows. It's even legend that the New Palestine High School mascot is the Dragon because of KKK influence. I'm sure things are changing with time, at least I hope.
