The Jewish speaker ignored the definite institutional and social discrimination that exists, the Arab speaker manipulated information to seem like the victim. I wish we could have a rational conversation which wasn't for scoring politcal pooints and actually solved these issues.
Whether it's fully democratic or not, there are still Arab citizens of Israel. Why is that when there's a Palestinian state there will never be Jewish citizens of Palestine?
And where do you get your information from ? Would any Jew care to be Palestinian ? Would any Jew want to be discriminated against and kicked out of his own house to make room for Israeli Jews? Would any Jew like to live a life of utter humiliation like other Palestinians ? Before Jews established their own state and before the British Mandate Jews, Muslims and Christians lived there peacefully- even during ottoman rule.
My mum's great grandmother was one of Palestine's Jews. So yes they can:S
Pure zionist sophistry that seldom gets any coverage in the US MSM. Al Jazeera is reviled for hosting forums like this and allowing the Israeli shills spout their twisted, discriminatory logic.
All americans hear is that Israel is the only democracy, so long as we ignore Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, etc.
Israel stole vast swaths of Palestinian land in the Galilee region, Jerusalem, the Negev region and many villages and cities that weren't promised them in the UN partition plan in '48. Now they're dealing with the repercussions. Many Palestinians and even Israeli's support allowing these many Palestinian villages and cities to join a future Palestinians state. But Israeli zealots aren't willing to cede even the Occupied West Bank let alone anything in present-day "Israel."
Wow , that professor it's ...a big racist ? lol

I guess Israel would feel secure if all the Arabs, Christians included, left Israel. That's what I got out of this debate!

It is a form of discrimination 100%.
One should not be seen one step down the hirachy as because of his or her origins, culture or nationality.
We have to start to believe in equal treatment.
