what kind of neck wood does the aerodyne have? Cos I'm thinking of defretting one but I dont want the roundwounds to chew through the wood. Have you had a problem with that?

@73h1337kiwi I think the neck is maple and the fretboard is rosewood, the bodey is basswood. I sold that bass a long time ago so I dont remember...

its a 2007 bass and yes is japan made, I replaced the pickups to Antiquity II by Seymour Duncan
