You guys don't really have a grasp on what It means to be an atheist.. which is nothing in particular. actually atheists believe in logic and practicality. if a cloud changed a shape and told you the bible is true and you should believe it, an Atheist would ask if you ate in the last 8 hours, if you had hydration, then if you are high on drugs then if your answer is yes to all an atheist would say you should seek psychological help So i don't think you are an atheist at all I think you are a normal human being looking for explaination. i think you definition of an atheist is wrong.

I really dislike people who think they carry out their religion, or do this or do that because of who they are personally. While our communities are becoming increasingly secularised, religions like hinduism are still relatively strong - as are the traditions and expectations like arranged marriages that go with them. Whether they are intelligent or not is no relation.

You have a point to an extent. Yes men are more confortable about men and women are more comfortable around women, I agree with this. But dude, those bollywood actresses, jesus I have seen how they are around men off set. You first should be aware that you are basing your argument on the western standard. Its clear from you statements that you believe, US (western) form of love marriage is the best way and the only way. This apparntly isn't the best way, since the fact is that near 50percent of all marriages in the US end in divorces. Furthermore, I don't see the difference between arranged marriage and these reality TV shows such as the Bachlor. Also, arranged marriages arent' forced its based on consensus

western culture isn't perfect. Religious persecution is bad. I actually am about to go back against that because I'm actually a very strong athiest in that I think all religions (not buddism) are stupid because they follow outdated practises that actually impair modern society (eg gay marriages) I mean if there was one God surely he could just tell everyone the right way to worship him...If you counter that with the free will argument then you acknowledge other religions are right as well
