one by one pull all metal to metal screws and apply blue loctite.
Just like the Align 500, you can replace the 2mmx6mm screws that hold on the tail blade grips to the tail hub. They tend to sheer on a tail blade hit onto a hard surface.
I still fly this helicopter. I work on my orientations from time to time (inverted, upright, backwards, inverted backwards etc). Kind of like warm ups.
You said that you have a .30 size heli also. What heli is it? I have a swift 16 that Im gonna make into a scale Apache, thats my 550 and I am buying a trex 600e.
The seller, a chinese wharehouse in China, is selling a chopper with dangerous electronics that if not fully understood, may seriously injur the pilot or or others watching! They want your money! nothing else and will not back up your' purchase!!!
did you have any issues with the nut securing the main gear. There's no hex shaped indent for the nut in the gear, like on the Trex500, and the nut is slightly too big for the hole. Or have I used the wrong nut?
everytime it star it beging SOO hard that cause blades to strike the head, i had burned 2 ESC trying to program"em and still have this issues ,, please help me ,thanks

what battery do you guys use ?
3000mah 6s,
4000mah 6s?
what fits anyway?
stratosjoebar 2 years ago
Same batteries as a trex 500.
I have 3000mAh Turnigy 20C 6S.
I plan to lower the battery tray to allow it to fit better.
Blueray450 2 years ago
3000mah 6cell Turnigy 20C works well. Running a Turnigy 60A ESC. Real impressed with the G401B "Gyrd" Futuba G401 Clone.

You need an ESC with super soft start. Mystery ESC's are notorios for a hard start. See if you can program it.
I use a volcano 60A esc
