Auto-return yo-yos are good for beginners but tend to have less of a sleep time. The Raider EX is a good choice for string tricks. Yomega has a Trick section on yomega.com that offers video help for each trick. Check it out and keep practicing.

I have 3 loops tied around my xp yoyo, when I turn it to auto it does its job, when I turn it off, they yoyo sleeps but doesn't come back up, what should I do?

@MrGogify if a yo-yo is not coming back in the manual mode then the problem is most likely the need for a strong throw and quicker flick of the wrist to cause return, or the yoyo may need some lubricant. I have a yomegea gamma brain wing, is there any way to clean the bearing?

@SocietiesID since the Gamma Brain is a beginner yoyo and good returns are needed, cleaning the bearing is not recommended. Cleaning bearings is only for really advanced play.

@xxyoakemxx The Smart Switch yoyos in the on or auto mode will return to your had in a few seconds. Its great to learn how to sleep a yoyo and do basic tricks - excellent for beginning to learn how to play. In the off mode, the smart switch yoyos will spin freely until you call it back. How long it spins depends on how hard you throw it but beginner smart switch yoyos can spin over 30 seconds or more once you learn how to play. Its a great way to learn!

@timtim989 email tech support at info@yomega.com sounds like the yoyo may need some lube or a new string. those are the reasons that prevent it from returning when called.
