Growing up we had a couple dogs that were German Shephard and Wolf mix, sorry but these dogs look pure breed to me I see NO wolf at all. My husky mix looks more wolfe then these dogs and she has no wolf in here that I am aware of.

Malamutes and Huskies are Canis Vulgaris. Canis Lupus is the latin name for a wolf. Canis Lupus Familiaris is a family pet dog.
Dogs such as the Malamute and Husky are vulgaris as they're an earlier domestication of wolf and havent been bred soley for appearance but for natural ability which makes them the Vulgaris breed.
It is true what you say, though don't mistake my beautiful favourite breed of dogs for a common family pet when they're so much more than pets. :D

Thank god my White Siberian husky is a low energy dog, not that I can't be bothered to walk her, just she doesn't have to run for hours on end, ten-twenty mins running and she wants to go home, thank god :D
Made me miss my husky. She looked like one of the puppies when she was a baby. I had her for 14 very "busy" and crazy years. She was the hardest dog I ever had but so full of life and joy. I miss her so much. To others thinking of getting a husky. Make sure you're a physically fit and very patient person who's willing to exercise them on a daily basis. They need lots of heavy exercise!

2. Wolves have long necks
3. Wolves have long lanky beautiful legs and long narrow toes, not these cute footsies

@CappitranoBellephant yup. those are Brian Ladoon's dogs. They are "Canadian Eskimo Dogs" I grew up around them. The young bears protect the dogs from the old bears.

have lived with more than my share of wolfdogs, sheps, and huskies. they are fwucking wonderful. better than any consumer i've met. almost as cool as wolf. wanna get more again. they're so smart, playful, clean, cuddly, and gentle. they really appreciate alot of exercise and adventure.

I had a huskey but he died last year, i miss him very very very much. I think about him all the time. I had sience i was a year old ( i am 13 now). Been with me forever. 'cries and make a lake of tears"

@Wolfdemonalchemist i know how you feel,i lost my duke last year a belgian shepard terverun he was 14,i will never stop thinkin about him he was my life but hang in there and remember we gave them a great life and they gave it back ,they will always be with us 4ever,the best place to bury your dog is in your heart .

Thank god my White Siberian husky is a low energy dog, not that I can't be bothered to walk her, just she doesn't have to run for hours on end, ten-twenty mins running and she wants to go home, thank god :D

Made me miss my husky. She looked like one of the puppies when she was a baby. I had her for 14 very "busy" and crazy years. She was the hardest dog I ever had but so full of life and joy. I miss her so much. To others thinking of getting a husky. Make sure you're a physically fit and very patient person who's willing to exercise them on a daily basis. They need lots of heavy exercise!
