@KnuxMaster 'Could' rather then 'can', the version of Biohazard that self righted itself was before the robot had the skirts installed, now the skirts would stop the robot from being able to self right.
Its incredible how Vlad got to be such an effective bot, considering his size and height that his wheels made... And getting under Biohazards skirts? INCREDIBLE
Ah this match always disappointed me, it seems that Gage couldn't keep with with driving this tournament. He really needs the help he had like in Season 1. He always seemed to have some sort of problem driving and using the forklift at the same time.
They said that this was an upset. Biohazard has actually fought Vlad before in Robotwars, although it wasn't much of a fair fight since there was always the house robots getting in the way. This was Biohazard's first fair fight against Vlad, and the sheer leverage of Biohazard wasn't nearly as much of an advantage this time since you can't win by throwing your opponent out of bounds. It ended up being a test of driving skill.
@40KEndgame They fought in robot wars? I never knew that, was it the US version?? These guys have been in the game since the very beginning, they've had countless fights, most the time biohazard wins
@40KEndgame You are right they did fight in Robot Wars, but it was the american versions 1996 and 1997. There were no house robots only on the British version (the house robots are pretty lame though in battles). All fights between these two awesome machines were spectacular.
Before the pulverizer broke, it bent Vlad's self-righting spike thingy so all Biohazard had to do was flip Vlad one more time and he would have won by knock-out.
i have to say BioHazord and Ziggo were really good bots and another thing Bio Always used the hammers to his advantage in most of the fights it was a really good strat
Yeah since Biohazard is so low he doesnt have 2 fear being flipped over , so at most bots he can drive under then and then uses his lifting arm 2 set his oponent stuck whil he pushes it 2 the hammer:P It really is great tho ! And seeing the pullverising hammer being destroyed is such a awsome sight for a titel fight !!!
@mentalrectangle The BattleBots Heavyweight Championship that occured in Las Vegas in 1999 went to Vlad the Impaler and was that Tournament was a pay per view event. This Heavyweight Championship took place in November of 2000 in Las Vegas. This was the 2nd season of BattleBots to air on Comedy Central.

carlo is lucky he won. he really pussed out after vlads self righting mechanism got banged up. I would have been all over that junk, flip em and you win.
This is, in my opinion, the greatest fight in battlebots history. I was a huge fan of Vlad and threw our couch across the room when the decision was announced (i was 12, okay XD).
To this day, this is one of my favorite BattleBots boughts. Now THIS was a serious fight! I remember anticipating every last second when I saw it on TV. Thanks so much for posting these vids <33
no offense biohazrd vs razer would have been a great matchup bot bots were the cream of the crop at their time both only lost 4 times both very low both very nasty i think biohazard would have won though
First off, it's RAZER with an E, not Razor. Secondly, Razer would mop the floor with Ziggo. Thirdly, Robot Wars isn't gay. If there wasn't Robot Wars, there more than likely would be no Battlebots. Fourthly, I like Toro, but I still think Razer is the best, overall. Lastly, there is no way a lightweight or a middleweight could beat Razer, who's a heavyweight.
I'm afraid you'd be wrong with that statement. I've done my research, and Robot Wars was started in 1994 by Marc Thorpe, and it wasn't until 1999 that Battlebots was founded by Trey Roski and Greg Munson. In other words, Robot Wars came first, and Battlebots followed afterwards.
I agree that Hazard is, more than likely, the most dangerous middleweight. However, I don't believe that Hazard could beat Razer, let alone rip it half.
You might rethink that if you witnessed the remnants of his opponents. But as far as British robots go, I'm also a huge fan of Hypnodisc and Firestorm.
I have seen Hazard in action, and I've seen the remnants of his challengers, but I still think that Razer would be too tough to be torn apart by Hazard. Don't get me wrong, I would expect Razer to take some damage, but I still don't think it would be cut in half or take anywhere near that amount of damage. Also, I like Hypno-Disc and Firestorm as well.
has anyone ever managed to flip Biohazard?

@KnuxMaster Vlad has
seanMmaguire1 4 months ago
@seanMmaguire1 he has? what season?
KnuxMaster 4 months ago
@KnuxMaster not on Battlebots as far as Im aware I saw Vlad flip Biohazard in the old American Robot Wars.
Biohazard had already beaten Vlad but then Vlad came back and fliped him over AND then Biohazard self-righted.
seanMmaguire1 4 months ago
@seanMmaguire1 OH so Bio CAN self-right

The pulverizer should enter as a stationary BattleBot. It can take out and be taken out.

One of the only times the Pulverizer was ever knocked out.

did biohazard's creator improve him from the fight with complete control? cause last i saw, he didnt have the lifting arm at all.

Vlad is eaisly the toughest bot made. I've seen a lot of bots *survive* the pulverizers, but only Vlad has beaten one.

Good fight. Biohazard must be so irritating to fight with it being so low to the ground.

biohazard actually can self right even from the design of the lifting arm although he has never had to in any battlebots match.
nfsfanAndrew 2 years ago
Not completely right tho i saw him upside down in 1 fight. But he was up in like 1.5 second cause of his arm
DJMetalstone 2 years ago
Biohazard can only self-right without the skirts. Vlad flipped Bio in their previous match and won because Bio couldn't get back over.
mentalrectangle 2 years ago
oh ok. yea i saw a video of him self righting before. that must have been without the skirts then.

As far as middleweights go, Hazard is the most dangerous. He could have ripped Razer in half. No offense to Razer fans, he's a well-built robot.
