Hip Hop and R&B of 2000s era is dead there where a few a good tunes but nothing compares to the 90s,where artist actually put their blood sweat and tears into their music , lyrics had meaning and were soulful and made you think, we actually had artist with talent and actually could sing live with auto tuner

Unfortunately, I don't know many of the songs of Mariah (apart from her major hits) and Nas, etc. I live in Ireland, so I don't think all of these people's songs made it into the charts here back then. I don't know why. So I'm kinda 're-discovering' all of this music now, ha, ha. :-)

I appreciate the pics of Mariah before she went "enhanced"...LOL. She was always in the top 5 list of best looking singers. The songs are okay, brings back some memories, but most of the songs are from the time when R&B was polluted by Hip hop. Basically the collaboration is what killed R&B in the 90's.
