I applaud your patriotism but Ghana is not different from any other country. A child should be able to call police on his or her parents if abused. You sound to me like a Taliban material.

I sold paper bags to help my parents while growing up in Nigeria and learned carpentering. That did not deprive me of getting a quality education. I made a choice, as an adult, whether to continue to college or continue my father's carpentering trade. I chose college. If you deny a child that choice, you are a bad parent; whether Ghana, America or Nigeria
