@AnimalGuardian71 These are typically hair follicles that have been plugged up, and then continue to produce follicular contents with no where to go, except to expand into a cyst sac.
Insurance typically covers this kind of surgery, depending upon the symptoms. Price is based on the size of the lesion being removed. Call (702) 456-3120 to schedule a consultation.
@LVDerm For my insurance to cover it, the doctor had to send the cyst to the lab & have it tested to see if it was cancerous which he already knew it wasn't. In this case the insurance company would've been better off to pay the cyst removal but since they wouldn't, they ended up paying more with the lab work
@dlmsuperdave Thank you for your input and story about how your insurance company would not cover your procedure or lab costs. The reason to send the cyst to the lab is to have it evaluated. All lesions removed at Las Vegas Dermatology are sent for pathology, unless a waiver is signed. There is no way to know with 100% certainty the character of any lesion without sending it for examination, no matter how confident the surgeon.
I liked the music too

Medical science, it both amazes and disgusts the masses, but it also saves them.
Keep rocking, doctor.
