@ammosmith I don't know what a box od 35 acp's cost you in your area, but I'm glad I started loading them for my use. BTW the screwdriver is a good tip

Well the polishing compound doesn't clean the primer pocket. Also a granule of polish can get stuck in the flash hole. So when you deprime after polishing it keeps the flash hole clear of obstruction.
I was glad to see this topic covered. Before I saw this, I was going to ask you if it was safe. Although I finally have a primer pocket cleaner now, I continue to use my trusty screw driver. It is one of those from a set of precision screw drivers and has a piece on the tip of the handle that spins, making it much more comfortable and efficient!
No. These are nickle plated brass cases. They are very common in handgun ammunition. Steel and aluminum cannot be reloaded...well shouldn't be reloaded. Steel will split when fired again usually and aluminum will stick in the die.
It depends on how hot you load the ammo. If you use a milder load say 85% and you're using good brass many times. You need to look for signs of waer. Loose primer pockets, bright rings around the web of the case. I have 20 rounds of .308 that I've loaded more than 25 times.
I'm short on money because I reload.

@LRooster4Prez Me too! But also I reload because I can make better ammunition than the factory.

Just a question... Why wouldn't you de-prime the case prior to case cleaning in the Tumbler?

How many times can brass be reused before you need to pick up new brass?
