Sorry - don't check on here too often. Use treated wood for the base and swing arm. I prefer the treated wood at Lowes - it seems to be heavier and better. For the house framing, I used untreated, but painted the interior of the house with outdoor paint. The siding is a composite material I found at Lowes - heavy and very durable. The shingles are standard 30 year dimensional shingles.
About $1400. The cost of the swings and slide cost the most of any line item $350. The rocks for the Rochk climbing wall are actualy rocks I bought off e-bay. Half the price of the plastic ones. Estimates to have this built were $3500 - saved $2000 doing it on my own!
Just great! We are expecting our 1st grandchild soon, a baby girl. We live on 80 acres so a playhouse will be a must. Great job! Seriously, how long did it take?
