単調な作曲技法しか用いられておらず立体的な和声にも乏しく、フランス人の音楽家が作ったという事実に驚くが、結局のところ演奏技法も程度の低いものしか要求されないところが、「当時の日本人向け」に作られた、ということを語っている気がする。

This march is called "Filing off March" or, "Fuso Song" in English meaning.
In Japanese, "分列行進曲（Bunretsu Koshinkyoku）" or, "扶桑歌（Fuso Ka）"
Fuso is one of the very old ways to call Japan.
