@renji691 , the notes are different on many of the horns. However, all horns that have the same colors play the same notes. So I pick one that has stats I like and memorize the songs it plays. Not that hard, just memorizing note sequences.

I don't remember having to unlock him. I tend to do all the missions in order so he was just there when I got to him. I'd suggest just searching google for monster requirements. I honestly don't remember having to do anything to unlock Red Khezu. If we did have to do anything special, it was so long ago that I don't remember, sorry.

i got a shock when i saw the wyvern blade blood needed a rathalos ruby to improve, i was like, how the frickin hell am i supposed to get that piece of crap!!

Rofl! Rubies are a lot more common on 2nd G because they had to make the Divine Plates the most rare. So if you play some HR8-9 Rathalos you will probably get a ruby every few quests. The best way to get Rathalos or Rathian parts is to do the Gold and Silver quest in the Great Arena.

No such thing. There is no universal weapon on Monster Hunter. That's the point, to be versatile with many weapons and types so you can kill a variety of monsters. Any weapon will work to some degree on every monster. No single weapon is the best for every monster. However, the one thing that hurts them all is raw damage and high sharpness.

Shock Traps work on Khezu even though he is electric. Paralysis even works on him, but only for like 2 seconds.

Water duals with high grade earplugs is a great way to fell Red Khezu. I would recommend that first and foremost.

kill gypceros for poison, and kill rathalos/rathian and kut ku for fire.

You can get Dragonite ore in the Volcano map which you unlock at 4 star quests, black pearls are found in the jungle (1 spot to get pearls) or crabs.

You can get sacs from specific monsters, for example, Yian Kut-Ku uses fire, so it has a fire sac, Gypceros uses poisen attacks, so it has a poisen sack.

I also can't find hercudromes, maybe by expanding your poke-farm?

There are a lot of mining spots in the Jungle and Mountains, so get your pickaxes ready, mate, and mine that ore! Also, you'll get a lot more trouble with Machalite ores later :)

Combination stuff is already there by default on Unite and 2nd G. Just some of them you have to figure out. On the first two games you had to figure EVERYTHING out by yourself. No books to help. And you couldn't combine in the box like on this game. As for the armor, like in every game you have to kill enough of the monster to get enough parts to make its particular armor. The only thing already made are HORRIBLY SUCKY armors you buy from the cat. Don't even buy those, not worth it.

Not trying to be mean, but these are very simple questions you wouldn't have to wait hours for me to answer if you just walked up to the blacksmith and looked yourself. To answer your question, yes. You have to provide Monster parts and money to the blacksmith.

Bladed weapons can cut tails off of monsters that tails come off. Hypnocs and about a dozen other monsters can't lose their tails.

99% of the time if I am playing with someone else they are in the room right next to me. If I am playing online it is by using Xlink Kai (check the links in my profile for details) and the official english version isn't out yet, but the game is over a year old so most people just applied an english patch to it since at the time Capcom didn't act like they were going to release it in English.

I hate doing the goldenfish missions but I think you can get them from the net casting machine on the farm.

Yo quick way is to combine snakebee larva and firefly and makes goldenfish bait. You then use that to catch them in area 9 and 1. mostly in area 9. The goldenfish bait only reacts to golden fish so they go directly for it and no other fish does. I know all this because i just did the quest lolo.

Well the fastest way to kill a Rathalos is with hammer but I don't like to use them. I like to use Great Sword and get a lot of Level 3 charges on their head. I get most of my machelite ore from bomb mining on the farm.

G is an expansion that includes 2 and then enough stuff for another full game on top of it. It has more weapons, armor, items, monsters and maps. It has an english patch you can apply or you can wait for Unite to come out this spring, which is the English version. There's no need to get 2 at all if G/Unite is available.
