  • Y-you guys do hear the fap-fap-fap-fap noise in the backround right?

    Its not just me, right?

  • I have to say, this is the best audio novel I've read yet. (well, It's my first...) This song somehow I find beautiful but when I think about it, it's insanely creepy. >.>

  • amazing experience

  • Why did they put hentai in it? Now I can't share this game with everyone :/

  • @ShuyaTheDark I don't think it would have been the same. The hentai adds to the atmosphere of utter depravity of the story. Revolting and recoiling would be two words to describe it.

  • @ShuyaTheDark If your friends can't handle an exposed sex scene call em' immature. xD that's what I do. and say "You're not supposed to fap to a meat monster."

  • "But she's a horrific abomination from another universe"

    Doesn't matter, had sex.

  • The soundtrack for this game is amazing!

  • my favorite part is where it says "la la la la"

  • sad cuz Yoh died in both endings....

  • Still find this VN one of the best I ever played. Not only for the reason that im a lolicon and like gore/guro.

  • @bladecrusher01 sup bladecrusher.

  • @boethiah12 Oh hi :D

  • why do people play VNs and then complain about the hentai? its such a prevalent thing in them.

  • haunting

  • this " world of saya " and fuminori is so damn captivating.

i feel like this game will be something i will remember for the rest of my life.

  • I actually enjoyed the storyline of this Visual novel quite a bit. I'd love to see an anime based on this.

  • Could someone send me the download link to this game (English version) in a pm? I've been looking for it....

  • @drwhofan34 Go to fakku's forums, they have a lot of different visual novels there. Check the master list and it should be under the s category.

  • A beautiful story.

    Except for the porn.

I had to go hide before anybody caught me watching it.

    >.<

  • While it is heartwarming, it give me the creeps

  • @101CuiteKitty No anime, visual novel

  • Are they planning on making an anime series on this?

  • @MisterShadowsX It's been like 8 years since it was released, and it's not that popular. So I doubt it :/

    I hope they do, eventually.

"Ending 3" would be the best way to go.

  • まさに純愛

    虚斑はほんとにすごい

  • 3 got eaten by Saya

  • LA....laLALAlalala.....LA.....laLALAlalala!

  • *thriller*

  • Damn....this song almost made me approve of Fuminori and Saya's actions...almost...

  • what is this is it from a anime. If so what's the name of it

  • @EnderSwe Saya no Uta is a game.

  • it gives the shivers when i hear it

  • I didn't really like this VN,the "Lovecraftian" feeling is only there for the first three minutes of the game and the story wasn't interesting.

    But this song was genius.

  • @Trazen4

You mad!? lol.....lol, dude....Saya no Uta was brilliant, the further you were in the story the more disturbing it was! lol

  • @NathanRomml:

It wasn't that disturbing, try that one scene with the dog from DIVI-DEAD.There won't be a moment in your life where that image won't be inside your head after you see it.

  • @Trazen4 The picture is not scary at all. And Saya no uta is disturbing not because of the pictures, but because of mindf*cking plot and atmosphere. But if you were looking for gore, you can feel disappointed.

  • @Trazen4 try gore screaming show if u want some real gore.

  • @BAKALOID02:

DIVI-DEAD wasn't about the guro,it was about the psychological horror. That scene with dog was memorable to me because the protagonist was playing with him just a little while ago,not to mention it was the part where it became clear that something was CLEARLY wrong with the academy...

  • So weird so strange ... so cool

  • Wasn't the whole thing about how our aesthetic views influence out ethics?

It was the main idea for me at least.

  • After I first finished saya no uta, my first thought was Saya is a parasite, and I still believe this. Her race is parasitic, it travels around the universe and latches on to the dominant race of the planet. This sounds awful, but who is to say our lives are more valuable? We manipulate other creatures, even our own planet, so we can survive (granted , it may lead to our destruction too), but are we any different? We are less advanced but it is the same concept.

  • This song still sends a chill up my spine.

It's such a contrast... Disturbingly beautiful. Just like Saya.

  • I watched the whole thing yesterday. When this song first came on, I was like "Oh, hell, something really wrong is going on right now."

  • Saya wasn't a monster. She was a creature that only wanted to love and have children. She can not be blamed for the things she did; she's a victim of circumstance. Although twisted everything she did was for love and a desire to be loved- she had no sense of right or wrong.

  • this made me sad

  • Question: did Itou Kanako do the "la la la la" in this song as well?

  • Saya no Uta asks you a very important question; How do you define a 'soul'?

Love is not something we alone can feel. Love can even cross dimensions.

  • @HackedStats

....Except for the fact that she was a (literally) bloodthirsty murderous mindrapist. If she had a soul, it was worthless.

  • @Annaleebie

    ... and she eats babies.

  • @Annaleebie Even if you put it that way, what makes her different from humans? From the cow's point of view, we are bloodthirsty murderous creatures who butcher them for our own hamburgers and steaks and meals. Even if you factor in the mindrapist, don't scientists do animal testings to see if new medicine or surgical procedures are safe to use on humans? So to lab mice, we are mindrapists too, aren't we? As for babies, don't we eat chicken eggs, and to that extent baby chickens?

  • @Tomoyuki976 What makes her different? Absolutely nothing. She was intelectually advanced, and emotionally stable. Her motivations were clear, and she was lead by love - open minded one, at that, which is more than i can say for most of us. She was cruel, yet no more than us, and considerative of her beloved one. Would she be a human at heart is plausible, though its still uncertain shed act so darkly human in a more social environment.

Saya isn't inhuman. We are the darkness we see in her.

  • @Blindcrow2008 That's the beauty of Saya no Uta. We're supposedly looking through the monster's point of view (Fuminori's distorted vision) and to the monsters, humans are the monsters. Sure, Saya did something horrible to Yoh, but Kouji also did something horrible to Saya (and Yoh) by whacking them with a steel rod. We think it's justifiable since Fuminori and Saya are out to kill him, but then again if Kouji was going to kill them, was it justifiable for Saya to kill him in defense? Probably.

  • @Tomoyuki976 The reason for the conflict between the humans and the monsters was the fact they couldnt accept eachother's existence for the sake of their own biology and psyche. Kouji and Tanbo couldn't believe a monster could be human, and neither could Fuminori, who had all the more reasons to understand, what with being in the knowledge those were his friends and knowing Saya wasn't human - making him all the more guilty.

The only good-hearted characters were Saya and Ougai as i see it.

  • @Tomoyuki976

the eggs people eat aren't fertilized, and thus it is not a baby.

  • @cicada300 My bad. I forgot all about that.

  • Amazing.

  • This song calms me down.

When I'm depressed I just turn on this song and everything feels better.

  • @Zetioun4

Actually, this song still freaks me out. It is beautiful, and at the same time, makes me feel like looking behind me everytime again.

After all, this is Saya's song. But if you consider her actions, at first she did not do humans any harm (despite the hospital humors, that is).

  • The plot wasn't cliché and was quite different from the norm of VNs. I was so engrossed in the story I forgot about dinner! It was absolutely 8 hours of my life well spent.

  • La la la.

  • I remember playing this at night, all alone in the house. Damn, everytime I was looking behind me just to be sure there was nothing there.

Maybe a little too short, but still a masterpiece. Loved it, and this changed my opinion on Nitro+ visual novels. Now my favorite are Type-Moon and Nitro+.

  • Why would you do this to me, internet. I fucking love you for years and you give me this game.

    What the fuck, man?

  • despite the hentai,

this was a pretty good Visual Novel

  • @alexpuddin the hentai was the best part!

  • @sibbie1023

not really considering the fact that he was fucking a tentacled alien the whole time.

  • @alexpuddin ......TENTACLE RAPE :D

  • @sibbie1023 No.

  • @alexpuddin the hentai parts were pretty important considering the "semen collecting"

  • @alexpuddin It's too bad there's Hentai in it, from the summary it looks quite interesting. I wish Visual Novel producers would at least put in an option to skip the H-scenes.

  • @Christiangamer2012 You could watch it on youtube with those parts taken out(as much as possible with the story still intact) its actually in the suggestions for this video lol

  • @skulface True, though I don't know if it would give the same experience as opposed to playing it first hand...

  • Same here, played 5h, and did all of the 3 endings, first ending i got was my favorite, the one where saya "gives birth"

  • Comment removed

  • Weird story.

  • Ahhh man... whenever I listen to this it's like I'm in a trance or I'm high lol.

  • It's disturbing when you consider that Saya makes that second face just as Fuminori realizes Yoh suffered a fate worse than death at Saya's hands.

  • i love it. so pretty and just trance like. something that may help me with my script and my drawings. it makes me wanna cry.

  • Lol, I remember that I was only going to read this for ten minutes then go about my day...I finished the entire thing in one sitting.

  • @RanmaHikari I just did the same. x_x

  • @RanmaHikari I was only going to read the first ending, but ended up reading the whole thing and it's 3:00 am now ;~;

  • @RanmaHikari

    same here xDD

  • So what is that anyway. I saw many comments and that grabbed my attention. Is that a game, anime or manga? I really like the music, it's so.... calm and misterious.

  • It's a Visual Novel with a love story, lots of grotesque scenes and loads of lovecraftian horror.

    I love it <3

  • Sounds good. From where can I watch it?

  • @Andragorans it's a visual novel/game, and your best bet of finding it would be a torrent online.

  • @Andragorans it is a Visual Novel about a guy who is in an accident and everything in the world looks like flesh and organs to him, except the girl in the vid called "Saya"

  • @ShalronDemonias From torrents then. Thank you for the info.

  • These two songs set me on tears.

Beautiful and pure; with intonations of sadness and carnal horror tuned within...

  • @PieJesuG i agree

  • The VN is just perfect

  • I love this game... SAYA! No really, it's a wonderful VN. Graphics but good~

  • i had to take several hours to recollect myself after going through some parts. also i had odd/strange dreams after going through this while ive heard other people had some nightmares after instead.

  • Oh god, I wish I could get mine working, but whenever it works, I see no text.... It makes me really angry, this VN looks amazing.

  • @teath123 Set your localization to Japanese.

  • @PieJesuG

This was a while ago, since then i downloaded the Japanese language pack, and it worked.

    Thank you though.

  • @whitenoiz26 Heh, the most beautiful things are quite psychotic my friend, perhaps it's because of the way our brain's synapses react when we see something that is like that, but, beautiful. Just beauty in psychosis. Well thats my thought on it anyway. xD

  • the best thing about this song is the goddamn static in the background. its unnerving as hell and it owns

  • so beautiful song...

  • but the game sometimes gave me creeps...

  • These two, as well as Sin, offered the brilliant contrast to most of the rest of the soundtrack, and really helped in giving you an idea of what Fuminori's view of the world was like. The songs are hauntingly beautiful, just like Fuminori's vision of Saya. The music was an essential part of the game, and great on its own, too.

  • thank you....
