  • Felicia knows those blushes are NOT for women of color. She is trying to be diplomatic and not damage her relationship with the party that gave her the freebie. FAIL.

  • @TiMalice2009 Just to clarify -- I review products for ALL women, not just ONE particular group of women. Having said that, I stand by my "First Impressions" video review in which I give rough percentages on the usability of this palette for women of varying complexions -- from very fair to very deep.

  • @TiMalice2009 In the video, I clearly stated that for women on the fair end of the complexion spectrum, this palette is likely 100% usable...and even then, the usability is a matter of "taste" and not just "color payoff". While a certain shade might "payoff" on a certain complexion, it may not be in line with that individual's "taste".

  • @TiMalice2009 In the video I also state the usability of the palette for my own complexion...I judge the palette to be about 80% usable for my skin tone.I also make it clear in the video that with palettes, you generally never hit it 100% on the head...this is my experience as a MUA with many years of experience. All in all I feel the palette is quite useful for women of all complexions

  • @TiMalice2009 And since I did not spend much time on the "blushes" in the video, I'll add my thoughts here...which mirror my thoughts on the eye shadows -- If you are fair, to medium, to tan...you will have success with most of the blushes. If your complexion is deep tan, to dark, to deep dark...you will have success with two of the blush shades.

  • @TiMalice2009 However with palettes, I always encourage "women" to think like a "makeup artist"...if a shade is too light to be used as blush, perhaps it works as a face highlighter or brow highlight. Conversely, if a shade is too deep to be a blush, perhaps it will work as an eye shadow or contour product. Get the most out of your "palette" purchases and do not limit the use to what it says on the box!

  • @TiMalice2009 The very last thing I will say regarding your comment is this -- I govern my blog(and LIFE)w/ a very high level of integrity. As an experienced MUA & Beauty Editor, you can trust and believe that a $30 palette submitted to me for editorial consideration for my readers does not incite me to write false or"diplomatic"reviews.I am not paid to do what I do on ThisThatBeauty...I do this for the love of my craft! And I know that my readers respect&appreciate the passion I pour into TTB

  • I love this!!! thanks for sharing! Will be purchasing this!!!
