I listened to this song on a road trip through the snow and it seriously made this song so haunting and beautiful looking out the window as the sun went down and the snow and i dont know... it was amazing<3

Anya Marina wrote a great song and performed a great piece for Twilight New Moon. Christina Perri found a way to make this song work for her and made it her own.

If you opened up your mouth more and opened the back of your throat, a more pure sound would come out. You don't have to close your mouth to make your diction different and closing your throat is a terrible way to sound raspy. It'll give you pollops on your vocal chords which usually requires surgery. I say this hoping for you to improve your already gorgeous voice. And no, I don't think I'm Simon cowell. He's a dousche with no musical training.

The way this song is done is really interesting, the notes of the piano have almost a light feeling to them, but her voice is full of melancholy, its eiry but beautiful.

I was reading the local news from 8/8/10, and I came across a&e (arts and entertainment) and they were talking about a local Pa girl who is jumping the billboard charts. I don't really care to much about billboards b/c it doesn't mean anything. But the reason I did check her out is b/c they had the biggest word a muscian/vocals will ever hear about them and that's unique. Just that word alone did me in. Great vocals Cat Powers touch!

I was reading the local news from 8/8/10, and I came across a&e (arts and entertainment) and they were talking about a local Pa girl who is jumping the billboard charts. I don't really care to much about billboards b/c it doesn't mean anything. But the reason I did check her out is b/c they had the biggest word a muscian/vocals will ever hear about them and that's unique. Just that word alone did me in. Great vocals Cat Powers touch!

@X0xVanishedx0X I think it's almost a statement on unconditional love. In the first two verses it's talking about how everybody is telling her that her infatuation with the person is wrong. Then the chorus is pretty much summing up her being lost due to the way this person makes her feel. And satellites revolve around a gravitaional pull, so sshe's talking about her heart revolving around that personn. Hope I helpeddd.
