  • Excellent! I am double knitting a headband. This is great for the cast on what bind off would I use so that the cast off/bind off rows both match? Thanks!

  • This motion picture demands a sequel.

    It is epic.

  • Sequels suck!

  • HOLY SHIT U GUISE! THERE'S A SECOND PART!!!

  • No denouement :(

  • Most fascinating.

  • Touching dicks!!!

  • I LOVE YOU! Take my children!

  • Am I the only one who's sort of hypnotized by this? I honestly want to see how this will turn out. We NEED a third episode! (getting out my knitting pins and wool yarn now)

  • MAJOR CLIFFHANGER! I am just stranded here with two knitting needles and a line of yarn... what do I do next? what do I do next?

  • Will there be a third installment, I need more!

  • Make more, i like watching your hands

  • Sequel is worth it!

  • Like with Harry Potter, do tape these all at once so we never see your hands age?

  • I thought mine was the only one that is loose and awkward

  • One of the few good sequels these days, does anyone know if there's a third one coming out?

  • i like this one WAYYY better than the original

  • The best sequel since The Dark Knight!

  • I love these videos especially because the great surprise twist at the end!

  • the knitty-gritty attention to detail is what really seals the deal on this video

  • fuckkkk.....

  • There's something about the original that is always going to hold a special place for me, but I have to admit, you've accomplished something truly exceptional with this follow up

  • I like how you continued in blue and white yarn. It really represents the duality of man.

  • YES! MOAR!!!!

  • JUST AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE.

  • RAMONE!!! I still don't have my knitting needles.

  • HOLY SMOKES THIS IS EVEN BETTER THAN THE OTHER ONE!!!!!!!

  • I told myself that I shouldn't have watched the first video, since it put a whole in my life. Now I find out there's a second part. This fills the whole. All I can say is: YOU COMPLETE ME.

  • Your voice and handwork are both hypnotic! Seriously, I could watch this all day; amazing work! I'd love to see the final product.

  • HELLO MY NAME NIKOLAI FROM MOKLESHNIN. I AM BEST KNITTER IN ALL OF RUSSIA. I COME TO USA WITH COUSIN KLASHNIVOKAN TO LEARN HOW YOU KNITTING. PLEASE TEACH KNITTING TO ALL ME COMRADES SO I CAN BE GOD LEVEL KNITTER LIKE YOU. THEN I BECOME MILLIONAIRE AND GET BIG CAR.

  • I don't know about you guys but I'm loving this. Christina Feva!!!!

  • Loose and Awkward? (1:18) Please, Fair Lady, Nothing you do is Loose and Awkward. Amazing piece of work you have here.

  • I've watched this 5 times... and I still can't do it.

  • I think she just flipped the first video and redubbed it but it's still awesome

  • Sequels are always dangerous when making a movie, but you seem to have pulled it off great! Keep up the good work!

  • I'm telling you guys, this is ALL FAKE! Can't you see the terrible CGI?

  • Great video!

  • This is the Empire Strikes Back of knitting videos.

  • Great!

  • Subscribed, great at explaining!!

  • Thanks. I think I understand it now!

  • I tried watching this in the 1911 mode but it just didn't capture the same artistic theme as the original unfortunately

  • I do not understand but your words enchant me.

  • She continues to impress! Waiting anxiously for part III!

  • woooooooaaaah no way. this is great please keep up the good work!

  • I subscrobe!

  • hot

  • sequels are never as good :(

  • They say Godfather 2 over 1. They say Terminator 2 over 1. They say Star Wars 5 over 3. I say THIS over part I.

  • I'm at work, so I had to watch without sound! :( But the attention to detail...wow.

  • I played this backward ... she communicates with the Dark Side.

  • I watched this video before it was cool.

  • I jacked off to your voice...hope you don't mind babe ^_~

  • W00T

  • This has nothing on Cast on for Double Knitting I. Why does every great film have to be ruined with a shitty sell out sequel?

  • her voice is that of an angel..

  • I can't wait for the next part!

  • I liked part one better.

  • So informative!

  • This would be so awesome as a song.

WHY ARE THERE NO REMIXES OF THIS YET.

  • OOOhhhh the humanity!!!

  • What happens next? How does the actual knitting go with it? What does the end product look like? How do you keep from stabbing your finger or husband with the end of the needle? Does the same procedure work with green yarn?

  • I liked the Double Knitting I album more. The sound totally changed in this one. christinacreating needs to go back to what made her popular.

  • Great!

  • Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, this is way more complex than quantum entanglement.

  • "Loose and awkward" <---- this is when this series jumped the shark

  • TIL how to knit.

  • i like knitting now

  • Play "Cast on for Double Knitting I"

Play "Cast on for Double Knitting I"!

  • I think we have a case of sequel syndrome here. I for one just didn't find it as engaging as the original. Sure, the visuals were pretty, and the sound was good, but the plot and characters just didn't have the same charm that they did in the first movie.

  • I wonder how end result looks like, will there be part III?

  • WOW, i was watching Part I and was hoping I wouln't have to wait 28 years for a sequel like i did with TRON. And then I find out there's one already!

  • THIS WAS THE GREATEST TWO AND A HALF MINUTES OF MY EXISTENCE!

  • I ARE DISAPPOINTED.

  • I for one like this second video. It's a decent continuation on the ideas planted in video one. The cast is the same but provides great quality. On the contra I must complain that the props and special effects were reused but still decent quality.

Also glad to see that the voice acting remains at a high.

All and all in a 9/10 movie.

Would watch again and recommend to my friends.

  • If I can ever afford it. I'm going to get myself some of those and knit until my fingers fall off. Then I'll learn to knit with my toes.

  • Please post Part III. I'm can't anchor my arms on to this jumper I made. Please hurry and upload PART III PLEASE.

  • This just keeps getting better. I was on the edge of my seat. A+++++++ WOULD WATCH AGAIN!

  • Can't wait for episode III

  • Where's Part III? I have a bunch of first rows, but I don't know what to do next.

  • She does have a good voice for this.

  • Would.

  • Do you select different yarn depending on the stitching technique or vice versa?

  • OMG...I can't wait for part III. O..the anticipation!!!

  • OMG...I can't wait for part III. O..the anticipation!!!

  • They should make this into a full length movie. I recommend Imax and 3D. Julie Roberts could play the lead rule.

  • Part II was like the second star wars, The empire Strikes Back. I can't wait for Part III.

  • I believe that "1 dislike" is a website bug. It makes no sense.

  • Damn woman, slow down. I'm trying to learn here but you're stitching like a bat outta hell.

  • There'll have to be a third one- there are so many loose threads that need to be tied up.

  • Don't try this until you've finished the first video. The technique is sound, but if you're not comfortable with the directions from video 1 (i.e., make sure you finish on a different color), it's not wort even trying this one out yet.

  • Can't wait for Cast on for Double Knitting III.

  • It just keeps getting better... don't leave us hanging, post part 3!!!! Subscribed <3

  • OMFG this is even more cash. GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!

  • What happens if you drop a stitch when double knitting? How do you fix it?

  • Top 3 sequels I enjoy more than the originals: (3) The Evil Dead 2. (2) Robocop 2. (1) THIS!

  • I hope she stops here. The third in a series is always the worst. Maybe she can pull off a gritty reboot or something with red and black yarn.

  • It's rare that a sequel can match the original's creativity, but this is just a masterpiece.

  • Wow, I almost came when I saw the second knitting stick.

  • The most unexpected sequel I have ever seen. Please, don't keep up waiting any more!

  • Please tell me Double Knitting III is coming soon, I don't think I can wait any longer!

  • are you a hero or just really brave?

  • This was absolutely fascinating. Thank you for taking the time to make these videos!

  • I really like how this video calls back to some of the themes introduced in Cast on for Double Knitting I, but at the same time isn't afraid to take the narrative someplace new.

  • Stitches white stiches blue pearl stitches yarn, baby yarn stiches wrap stiches blue yarn white pearl stiches.

  • My heart skips a beat every time you say the word magical word, yarn.

  • It took me a while to see the goat.

  • favour of their new bourgousie peers. While I can still enjoy exploring the motivations and nuances demonstrated in Cast on for Double Knitting II, I feel somehow let down, knowing the potential that was, and the comprimise that is.

  • I think you could be on Martha Stewart one day!!

  • This perfectly demonstrates the problem experienced across the board with successful Auteurs attempting a meaningful sequel. Since the initial installment, the success and fame inflates the ego. The newly acquired riches allow them to leave the alleys and workhouses that were their soul and inspiration. Their new 'Artiste' friends insist their input, transforming beauty and art into a mediocre mish mash of avant garde tedium consisting of 'in-jokes' and references, pushing out the working man in

  • After episode one, she could've gone in any number of directions. Basketweave? Moss Stitch? Twin Rib? I'm so glad she stuck to what works and delivered this amazing sequel. This really closes the story wonderfully.

  • Oh Christina, what will you create next? Is there anything you cannot knit?

  • Does this work with yarn of any color?

  • A nice, even cast on there indeed.

    Elegance, thy name is knitting.

  • That was wild. I admit I feel a little lost at the moment, but if I watch this again and follow along, I'll get the concept a lot better. The POV camera angle is a nice touch.

  • I see a lot of people criticizing this second installment and saying it's not as good as "Cast on for Double Knitting I", these people are missing the point! Without part II, part I is MEANINGLESS. Don't you see what she's done?

Part II not only drives the message home, but opens it up and lets it fly. I may have wept when I saw part I, but I overflowed with JOY at part II.

The only other work of art I can even compare these to is "Ode to Joy" by Bach.

    Please keep making videos!

  • got it... thanks for your help everyone!

  • This is so complicated.

  • I really love the elements of existentialism that permeate all your videos. Unfortunately, this video seems like a rather rushed sequel to "Cast on for Double Knitting I"... With a few more minutes of work and a few more screenwriters, this could have been on par with the first.

  • I didn't expect that twist in plot at 1:41

  • i'm still stuck on step seven from part one. can anyone help? I really don't get the part with the gold thread! thanks for your responses

  • @lookblind Don't you get it? It's not about following the steps, it's about TAKING NEW STEPS! You make your own path! Did we even watch the same video here?

  • Cast on for Double Knitting II is The Empire Strikes Back of knitting videos! Surpasses the original in every way!

  • I was told my hands are too big to knit that well. Yours are so beautiful.

  • Excellent, informative, I love it.

  • Even better than part one!

  • KNITTING LIKE A BOSS

  • Let's knit yarnfruits?

  • I've been trying so hard to find a proper resource for double knitting - this is everything I had hopped for and more!

  • OMG THERE IS A PART II? WHY WAS I NOT TOLD?!?!

  • My life begins anew as of now.

  • In mere minutes you've clearly and concisely explained double-knitting technique, such that in your hands it has become a thing of simplistic beauty! Naturally, the voice of an angel must be complimented by the intelligence of a true educator.

  • Personally I liked her early stuff. She just started selling out by the time she released this video. Cast on for Double Knitting I was a masterpiece.

  • @llucashamilton - Agreed, now everyone is on the bandwagon. I was double knitting with Christine back when she had 300 views.

  • @llucashamilton i agree wholeheartedly sir.

  • @llucashamilton Fucking knitting hipster...

  • Frikking knitting hipster...

  • I feel like all the events of my life have been building up to this moment! THIS is what I was born to do!

  • This woman knits better than anyone has ever done anything.

  • I must admit that I have seen this technique many times, however the way you explained it completely changed not only the way I look at knitting, but the way I look at life! I will forward this to all my friends and ensure that it gets the proper attention it deserves. Thank you so much for this. I am speechless and doubt I will get any sleep tonight.

  • Hi, thanks for the vids! When do we learn how to knit intimidating teddybears?

  • Boobs?

  • This is the answer to all of my problems.

  • Your voice permeates my soul. There's something to be said about your gentle handiwork, the calm, precise nature of your movements that soothes me deeply.

If you make more videos of this nature I will watch every single one. ಠ_ಠ

  • @MandyLovesYou99 It's not just your soul. I've shown these videos to everyone I know that would come over and watch, and 8/10 of them admit that they became instantly infatuated with the angelic vocals. We would be so blessed to have more.
