Excellent! I am double knitting a headband. This is great for the cast on what bind off would I use so that the cast off/bind off rows both match? Thanks!
Am I the only one who's sort of hypnotized by this? I honestly want to see how this will turn out. We NEED a third episode! (getting out my knitting pins and wool yarn now)
There's something about the original that is always going to hold a special place for me, but I have to admit, you've accomplished something truly exceptional with this follow up
I told myself that I shouldn't have watched the first video, since it put a whole in my life. Now I find out there's a second part. This fills the whole. All I can say is: YOU COMPLETE ME.
HELLO MY NAME NIKOLAI FROM MOKLESHNIN. I AM BEST KNITTER IN ALL OF RUSSIA. I COME TO USA WITH COUSIN KLASHNIVOKAN TO LEARN HOW YOU KNITTING. PLEASE TEACH KNITTING TO ALL ME COMRADES SO I CAN BE GOD LEVEL KNITTER LIKE YOU. THEN I BECOME MILLIONAIRE AND GET BIG CAR.
What happens next? How does the actual knitting go with it? What does the end product look like? How do you keep from stabbing your finger or husband with the end of the needle? Does the same procedure work with green yarn?
I think we have a case of sequel syndrome here. I for one just didn't find it as engaging as the original. Sure, the visuals were pretty, and the sound was good, but the plot and characters just didn't have the same charm that they did in the first movie.
I for one like this second video. It's a decent continuation on the ideas planted in video one. The cast is the same but provides great quality. On the contra I must complain that the props and special effects were reused but still decent quality.
Also glad to see that the voice acting remains at a high.
Don't try this until you've finished the first video. The technique is sound, but if you're not comfortable with the directions from video 1 (i.e., make sure you finish on a different color), it's not wort even trying this one out yet.
I really like how this video calls back to some of the themes introduced in Cast on for Double Knitting I, but at the same time isn't afraid to take the narrative someplace new.

After episode one, she could've gone in any number of directions. Basketweave? Moss Stitch? Twin Rib? I'm so glad she stuck to what works and delivered this amazing sequel. This really closes the story wonderfully.
That was wild. I admit I feel a little lost at the moment, but if I watch this again and follow along, I'll get the concept a lot better. The POV camera angle is a nice touch.

In mere minutes you've clearly and concisely explained double-knitting technique, such that in your hands it has become a thing of simplistic beauty! Naturally, the voice of an angel must be complimented by the intelligence of a true educator.
Personally I liked her early stuff. She just started selling out by the time she released this video. Cast on for Double Knitting I was a masterpiece.
I must admit that I have seen this technique many times, however the way you explained it completely changed not only the way I look at knitting, but the way I look at life!
