(cont) just remember having a beautiful wedding or wedding photography doesn't guarantee a beautiful marriage. a couple that is able to go into their first year of marriage with less financial strain is more likely to make it. just trying to put things in perspective.

(cont) i'm like ashleysmom517 - a low-midrange budget photographer because i have another job i take more passionately & seriously, but i enjoy photography. i don't just do it for the money, but i charge for the time it takes me and the work it takes to edit photos. not everyone can even afford $8000 for their entire wedding - so there are photographers to serve lower budget weddings, and of course many pro photographers to serve ridiculously excessive high-budget weddings.

wow, rocket881 is seriously rude. there are different levels of photography and of course they should charge differently. hey rocket - if you refuse to get out of bed for less than $8000, you must be doing quite well for yourself, OR... maybe you're spending a lot of time in bed. i'm curious to know why you would be watching this youtube video if you're so dearn good. :)

good stuff! coulda been better images! a few should go away! but, well the concept of bride and groom competing with the back ground should be rethought! it was hot for about 30 seconds but its a dead concept and for a good reason !LOL

I agree that most couples that live in small towns can't afford THOUSANDS just for the photographer. I can understand charging more if you live in a big city like LA or NY, but there are ALOT of great couples you can get if you also have budget wedding packages.

No it's not for an hour I'm not an asshole.I live in a small town where not everyone can afford that so I work with couples to give them memories on a budget,I want them to be able to afford beautiful photos and afford a honeymon later.and it's not my number one source of income, I love what I do and don't need to be a wedding photographer just for the money.
