If you watch carefully, he doesn't actually turn at all. He just pulls the board to it's side, does a backflip and then moves back around.

to sideswept - in snowboarding we call this an underflip or an underflip 540- its basically a straight backflip (ie not backroll) with a fs 180 during the spin (not at the end as in rodeo). a very very corked fs 540 begins to be an underflip when its super corked. its not a 360 backflip

Lol sorry man i was in a bad mood and you're about the 1000th person to tell me i named my trick wrong. Technically that was a Early grab Frontside Inverted 540 Indy more commonly known as a Rodeo Flip. A Mctwist is a backside 540 with a mute grab invented and named for Mike McGill. Mike along with Christion Hosoi and many others did them inverted almost like a frontflip and thats why everyone seems to think the mctwist is a flip. It is really an inverted rotation just like the rodeo

theres no ollie involved.. after many failed attempts i realised that if i wanted to flip fast enough i had to have my board in my hand when i took off.. thus the early grab. It was pretty much just huck my right shoulder back, look over it, and hope i see the ground again before i feel it

i feel like telling u the whole stry so here we go i was skat ing on a 15 foot halfpipe and got frontside air and my back truck caught the coping so it  threw me forward and bent my wrist back and i said a few choice words and gt up and continued skating and i walked around fr 2 and a half days in extreme pain till i went to the doctor
