I don't care if you guys don't believe me but.. Mark is my second cousin. Although I've only met him once because he lives so far away, he is very sweet and funny. I LOVE watching his videos! (:
oh god yes!!! my tv is probably twice this size and the resolution is CRAP!...the junker tv on the show, that s. i still want to know if the cash is real or fake though
$ale of The Century was THE game show!! It was like a mix of '80s Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and Let's Make A Deal. I can't believe they butchered this classic; Temptation sucked so much ass!

I agree with you completely! I've only been alive for 18 years but I remember $ale of the Century and I have episodes of the show from reruns...Jim Perry kicked ass in the 1980s and the current version (Temptation) sucks ass.
I saw Mark accidentally announced on Make Me Laugh a few years ago. But, with him going through all this in 1984, it must've been gut wrenching for him
I was joking. But not about the "quiz show" fix. More like "Swindle of the Century"!!! Well, who knows, but I wouldn't put it past that shady Jim Perry hombre...
I remember we had a similar show on german tv in the early 90s .. wasnt quite a sucsess, but i liked it though .. interesting concept of buying prizes with your game points
Jim was indeed on "Card Sharks", but he was at his best on "Sale". Jay Stewart was also the announcer for "Joker's Wild" and briefly on "Card Sharks".
I remember the opening of "$ale of the Century". That brings back those tearful memories when I was a kid. I missed it since it was on NBC daytime back in the late 80's. Jim Perry was a great host when he was on "Card Sharks". I hope GSN will bring it back.
He was on several game shows. Card Sharks, Sale of the Century, Fractured Phrases, Eye Bet, Definition, Headline Hunters, Casino, Twisters, and Miss Canada, some of them simultaneously.
wow! it's freakin' hugh neutron! you freakin' went for it, and won! insta-bomb!

If you find some of the later 80's episodes, they got a little too far away from what you see here.
Not to mention all shows end eventually.

That WAS NOT Paul Reiser. That was Mark DeCarlo, the host of the 1992 game show "Studs".
