I agree with you completely! I've only been alive for 18 years but I remember $ale of the Century and I have episodes of the show from reruns...Jim Perry kicked ass in the 1980s and the current version (Temptation) sucks ass.

Jim was indeed on "Card Sharks", but he was at his best on "Sale". Jay Stewart was also the announcer for "Joker's Wild" and briefly on "Card Sharks".

I remember the opening of "$ale of the Century". That brings back those tearful memories when I was a kid. I missed it since it was on NBC daytime back in the late 80's. Jim Perry was a great host when he was on "Card Sharks". I hope GSN will bring it back.
