holy shit, my grammar is terrible in the two posts below. oh well. if you want to take the myers-brigg, which i know is like a cliche test blah blah blah, then just type the name in google and take the one on the humanmetrics website. so yeah, this is, in part, how i explain the natural differences between me and my family, especially in regard to religion. as a kid, i always wondered why i didn't love mega-church like the rest of my family. now i (sort of, somewhat) have an answer as to why.
i think this video is interesting. certainly i think more along your lines. my parents are fundamentalist christians and it can be difficult/frusterating for me to talk to them about religion. they hate/fear my perspectives. one thing that sort of opening my eyes, though, about peoples understanding of religion is the myers-briggs personality test, of all things. some people are sensing-judgers (sj). those types tend to see religion in a more concrete way. not surprisingly, my parents are SJ's.
all my siblings are sj's. but for some reason i turned out an np (intuitive perciever). you can read more this is on various websites. people with a strong intuition (whether np's or nj) tend to have this more universal understanding of religion. but god comes to people in many ways. my family will never percieve religion how i do. they're not wired that way. but i don't hold their beliefs against them because everyone has a right to experience god in a way that makes sense to them.

Sure - evil is part of God too. It may seem hard to understand for some. But you cannot know Good without Evil - hot without cold - close without far - young without old. These opposites are a necessary part of life experience put in place so that we have something to contrast everything with to determine what is "good" and what is "evil". So negative things are how we know what the positive are so we can then hopefully make the choice to live in the positive rather than the neg. Do you see?

chivo - If you think thats what God does then you have A LOT to learn about true God. As long as you think God only exists within religion you will NEVER know her in your current lifetime. Gods purpose for existing is to experience itself through us, not to perform "miracles" or end suffering. Those are lies created by MAN. And you think God is not infinite? if that were true then God wouldnt even be God at all. Im curious to know what you actually think God is....

Sure - evil is part of God too. It may seem hard to understand for some. But you cannot know Good without Evil - hot without cold - close without far - young without old. These opposites are a necessary part of life experience put in place so that we have something to contrast everything with to determine what is "good" and what is "evil". So negative things are how we know what the positive are so we can then hopefully make the choice to live in the positive rather than the neg. Do you see?

Yes I do understand good point. Nut you said that "evil" is a part of God as well. My point was that if God has parts you saying there is something seperate from God which doesn't make God the ALL. Do you get what i mean? If something has parts then it is not whole-it's not The ALL. There is a seperation. Saying god is good and evil implies that god has two parts. You can not be the ALL if you have seperate parts. I'm trying to understand all this. two can not make one because two is two.

yes but is it really truth? or is it your ego telling you its truth. Particularly when trying to conceptualize reality and our existence we are soo far away from the truth it almost seems rediculous to waste time thinking about it, and anyone who thinks that they have the slightest grasp of what is "true" is just ignorant. well if you read physics 2+2 does not always equal 4. According to Quantum mechanics at the smallest of scales this is not always "true". I'm just saying that there isn't a person alive that knows the truth about our existence and reality, and the more we learn about it and the more we theorize about it the more complex and abstract it becomes. If modern theoretical physics eg string theory has any merit there could be universes where 2+2 = elephant. So then what is truth?

i agree with a vast majority of what you said, and lifes a ride for sure however we look at it, but even though you are trying to seek the truth (and i am eternaly thankful of this) i don't think it is healthy for our minds or humanity to believe 100% in any idea on creation, existence, reality ect. for i feel that in doing this we are limiting ourselves and we could have completley missed the point.

Right, because the plant that you are taking is increasing your awareness of what is. The goal is to be able to stay in this normal reality and help to change negative energy into positive.
