Thanks for the kind words Puppy. We were there one year ago and it seems like yesterday. I loved every minute of our time in Samarkand and we were glad to have made that trip. I am not sure if we will ever get the chance to go back there (I hope we do). You come from a wonderful city. We had a great time there.

Great Job!Registan square is a heart of Central Asia,used to be a center of trade in the past as well.

Thanks for the kind words. We never really knew much about the place other than what we read in the guide book. One person did tell us that every few years there is a huge dance festival in the square. That would be something to see.
