Thanks a lot! :) I first figure out by ear what each accompanying instrument (strings, bass, drums, etc..) is playing and individually play and record each one of them on a separate track. Then I record myself playing the piano part with the previously recorded instruments playing the background.. I hope that vaguely makes sense :P
