  • I like playing this when i do my math... its calm its not full of action and helps me concentrate

  • Bring back so much memories, it's really insane how this game has touched me. I'll always be nostalgic.

  • People don't miss playing the game. Just keep playing and you wont miss it anymore.

  • @ImKoolWithThis We're not talking about the same game, we mean World Of Warcraft Vanilla, wich is dead so we can't.

  • So much Memories

  • I love you WOW <3

  • even though i never really play alliance this is still nostalgic to me.

  • Missing <3 :/ really...i love while i killing in ef with friends, and listening this.

    Relax..

  • I love the Alliance, i never want to play that filthy Horde! The music, the purity, the people! Nothing in WoW could be more perfect!

  • just landed on flight path... going into stealth mode... as I sense danger is near by... the music puts me into a careful, but alert mode... rogues... near by ....i sense danger....

  • i will always love and miss the world of warcraft

  • Good old times!

  • i will take WoW in my heart, forever

  • If anyone wants to join a blizzlike vanilla wow server go on wow-one.com

Its a highly populated server with awesome and active players. You can download it from the forums.

    - Rollon

  • hmmmm.....

i know that private servers are bad.... but this music just makes my force to join 1 just so that i can see the pre-cata state

  • duelling in front of stormwind with friends and guys you hated.. i just miss the old days of WoW!

  • I FUCKING HATE CATA IT RUIND EVERYTHING

  • @thekrantz123 true words... sadly...

  • This music ... It reminds me the all the times i've try to climbing these mountains to see a landscape. I did it, and .. It was so ... Beautiful ..

  • Oh, how I fucking miss Vanilla..

  • I'd like to life in this world. Only because of this awesome music and the story...

  • It's awesome to read the comments and see, that so many people have the same feelings like me, when they hear this music. WoW is just pure win!

  • get a life

  • that orc again... T.T

  • @cococo1010 XD I love WoW fans...they can be so awesome!

  • sigh.... i miss the old world...<3

  • @MsSweetyness the music is still there

  • @MsSweetyness You can still play the old world on pirated servers. As long as you have and pay the roiginal, i dont think Blizzard will mind you all enjoying the old Wrath of the Lich King on an unofficial server.

  • You know guys. I am a major Star Wars fan that has been waiting for an mmo like SWTOR to come out. But I have played this game, and the one thing that gets to me is the music. Some people probably LOVE WOW like I LOVE SWTOR!!! Who here loves WoW as much as I love TOR.

I remember starting out and getting quests from Marshall McBribe :') I remember my first time in Stormwind. Then..came the expansions.... me misses vanilla :'(

  • man ive played wow for about 7 moths im a levle 85 and i miss leveling with my freind we started togeahter and well it was amazing 2 hunters having a blast! we would travel eevery where we would have to swim because the levels were to hight to kill and we were so excited to go to blasted lands and oh man i miss being a noob but im grateful for what azeroth has ahead for me :)

  • world of warcraft 4 ever hört sich doof an aber besser wie diese scheiss kidis die denn ganzen tag nur css oder so en scheiss zocken lieber hir so ein spiel

  • Just a few words: It's all gone. And: There will never again be something like WoW Vanilla / WoW Classic. "Why?" you may ask. It wasn't easy to access for new players, the ingame community was responsible to teach new players the fighting, the attributes and the best way to level. Today everyone can just start and be successfull, level fast and get good items. Real guilds like back in the days aren't needed anymore, there are dungeonfinders and the groupquests are all gone to the high end zones.

  • @thavador ye i remember a time when ppl use to gather up with ( friends ) and ( ride ) or race to a dungeon lol, when u get to dungeon it was such an achievement already and equally fun, and now with 1 click of a button u log in a dungeon with strangers and do the routine roll and get out :( like as if its some sort of a job.. or a business wheres that excitement!!!!!!!

  • [3][Local Defense]: Goldshire is under attack!

  • there still exists servers for TBC;P like hellground:P1 with a better wow private servers i think

  • Sometimes I'm just sitting on a mountain and listen to this music.. wonderful.

  • Sitting in a dark room immersed in the world of warcraft, as you do quests in a location where your toon is alone, nothing better.

  • From all these comments it seems like you are all experiencing when something you love becomes mainstreamized, it sucks I know, people that really don't appreciate the essence of the thing you love will just come and go, hence why mainstream sucks.

  • @Chitownrunthis

Mainstream does suck, mainstream I have noticed, kills the experience for the "veterans"

  • @RebelManCam yup, long live the underground, it's where the truth resides.

  • I agree...I remember when I had my simple human warrior...I spent so much goddamn time working on my character, not fast but enough to make myself feel some sort of connection with him. I remember fearing death and wishing to be one of the level 60's...Dungeons where more about the adventure and not speed running to get a stupid cape. Horde in deadmines? WTF? The alliance dungeons were meant to be special for alliance members as horde dungeons wr for horde...I miss vannila. I miss the true WoW.

  • i miss tbc, and im sure that in like 3 years or so ppl will be saying, i miss cata

  • i miss the TBC times it was so fun back then

  • damn i miss vanilla :(

  • Every good thing have an end ...... ...

  • i sure miss the old days of just lvling a new character T-T do a few instance here and there to bad now its all hardcore raiding/item score crap/achievements and pvp

  • @lynch8man I do :( i was like 11 years old haha but i did some raids. Tbh i'm really not sure if I did onyxia (I just want to be honest). But I think that i saw my cousin do some raids :) haha and dinging lvl 60 was the best day of my life

  • You guys remember ''Hogger''? Oh yes Hogger! I remember when i tried to kill him. but he 2 hitted me. So i trained HARDER! Those who may know 1-15 where hard times back then!

When i was like lvl 15 when i attacked ''Hogger'' [Gold Elite] again! and i killed it!

You Guys really don't know what feeling it gave! And while listening too this song was the best day in my life!

  • @JLTGOperations you remember onyxia? going with your guild, raiding the dungeon once or twice a week? i miss the good old days.

  • i miss 1-10 lv

  • I LOVE ELWYNN!!!

  • Ah WoW, your gameplay may differ through times but your music will always be great :)

  • lol i love how you go to elwynn and you see these noob lvl 1 humans and they just randomly go pvp and start attacking horde xD elwynn is my favourite place even though im horde i love it.

  • i loved the noob times

that's why i start a new character every time i get a lvl 85 character

i luv the music the quests like the day deathwing came :P and i luv the whole game

    pls dont hate noob times

  • I WANT MY NOOB TIME BACK! This game was hella fun for me when I was a noob in Vanilla and explored everything. The questing was much fun and the citys and new zones I explored were stunning. Now its just about grinding and farming. THAT SUCKS HARD. I quitted WoW because of this.

  • My first test chara was a human and elwynn and especially this music make me want to play again. The other starting zones are totally boring in comparison, or at least I dont get a feeling like from this one.

Still, the only way of getting me to play this again would be if it was the only way left to drown my sorrows. It just eats up too much time.

  • @CloneWarrior001 it was the same of me i lov the starting zone of human and dwarfs and just cause of them i began play wow again ^^

  • These soundtracks remind me of when I was 16. It's so sad, but there was such a magical feeling in the air. The nostalgia is almost too painful.

  • NOSTALGIE ...

  • Yeah I remember Hogger was it? MMM and the farmland next to elwynn forest. Dont know if I will get those memories back. Though it was a pain walking soo much. :)

    Asphesos- Shadowsong.

  • i havent played WoW for like 2 years now listening to this song makes me miss it i remember the first time ever playing WoW picking human and going into Elwynn hearing this song was like wow this is so calming but it has changed now i can almost guarantee that i would only play to level up not care about the music the art work or the people who play it i mean playing WoW your first time and seeing a level 80 you were like oh my god he or she looks so cool the armour was epic

  • Friends, referring to the most liked comments, I am assuming that you are all in teh same place that I am right now. Wishing I was a nub still. Well, I am searching for a new game, as I am sure many of you are. I am searching for a new experience. For a new way to enjoy online gaming like I did when I first played WoW. But this search can't be done alone. Everyone here join the facebook group 'The quest for a new game' and lets get started, LIKE this so that everyone sees!

    Thanks

    -Pebsie

  • Immaturity gets you nowhere, and trolling? No, no, only stating facts, mate.

  • Dragon Age: Origins is so much better than World of Warcraft.

  • @IMDBmoderator i gonna fuk your mom

  • @GnomePower1000 Don't feed the trolls, my friend! :D

  • @GnomePower1000 learn to spell and learn how to use punctuation marks.

  • I can almost hear the sounds of Gnolls when I listen to this...

  • It's magical. I play on 3.3.5 private servers. Fuck cata. Me no like big cwaters and wava in the ground : (

  • When I hear you all I'm so happy I start playing yesterday =) my 1st time. And god yes! The world is hella big! I am a level 4 human mage =) its so kewl!

  • @tommyjongen join the horde, much better ;)

  • i want the old times back as well, the first time walking through thiese woods...but its like they say, the only way not to think of a pink rhino, is not knowing what a pink rhino is. sad, but true : /

  • we cant go back to the good ole days, but you cant forgive blizzard for selling out

  • This is music, not that Justin beiber gay shit

  • xD

  • ahh this song is in my head ..... when i started my first char.... that was so....so........EPIC

  • Music is so gosh darn beautiful!!!!

  • @painmaker300

Do not play for 3 years... then get back on it. Worked for me! A few months of reliving the moments.. ;)

  • OMFG, this is so fucking nostalgic!!

  • One of the first things I remember thinking when I first started playing WoW and leveling up in Elwynn Forest was:

    "Hmm, I like this music."

    :D

  • @Jasperemerald23567 ...and thinking "this world is so big! How will I ever survive? Hey, what's over there? Trees and birds and stuff to kill, sun shining through and oh look, the sun is setting. I can hear crickets! Wonderful!"

  • @pajura rofl

  • Loool! horny! Thanks homie, for inserting it, do not know that it is on yt, I love this music: D Such acalm ,sun shines, the real tree ,remember the old times , as I started at Elwyn :]

Greetings to all players Wow !!!!!

  • So true...

even after playing WoW for so long, it's moments like my first step into Elwynn that take me back.

I miss the feeling of that. When the cap was 60 and when the 100% land mount was a big deal, I wish I could have those days back!

  • i remember walking into goldshire from northshire when i hit level 5, ahhhh was so epic, when i first saw the house and this was on full blast, my heart was at like 250 per minute xD

  • @painmaker300 Yea man first times are always the best :)))

  • beautefull ^^

  • only the starting areas really have the power to make you stay there so long that the music is forever embedded in your mind... you never really do forget the first time you won in a pvp match or your first level 20... i kinda miss those days... lol i still remember the first tavern music... ahh the good old days of level less~than~20

  • [3. Localdefense] Goldshire is under attack!

[3. Localdefense] Goldshire is under attack!

[1. General] [ßorras] LFG for hogger!

[1. General] [Isamildur] Haha! noob hes easy..

[Kamikil] whispers: ill do it with you

    Kamikil has joined the group.

    [Party] [ßorras] Lets go!

[3. Localdefense] Goldshire is under attack!

  • I just remember this song playing whenever I had to run an enormously long distance in a vast, magic and severely disorganized world.

    Cataclysm pampered the world.

  • Wow! The memories from this song is amazing. I was just lvl 1 or 2 grinding wolves too level up...hehe...the music is just great....good ol' times.

  • I still remember the first time I stumbled in Elwynn Forest. I was a level 4 dwarf pally hunting boars in kharanos when a 38 dwarf helped me get to SW. After spending half hour in SW I couldn't find my way back (was noob, didn't knew about 'M' map key). I saw the road towards elwynn and ran like hell. This music started and I was lost in the breathtaking world. It was truly an epic moment for me. I miss those days :((

  • i miss the old days

where u didnt have a clue

where evrything u saw was new and amazing?

everything has changed now its all about gear and guilds and shit

i wish i could rewind back to the old days *sigh*

  • @painmaker300 so thats why people always have Duels in Goldshire and in front of Stormwind even though they are Level 80......

  • used to hear this song hundred of times leveling up my first character and discovering this wonderful world....of warcraft; great memories, the first touch with this game is epic, blows your mind.

  • Like all the other comments on this video.. I'd have to say this game back in the old days were really amazing. Not knowing were your going, being amazed when you find something you haven't seen before, traveling into horde/alliance territory and then encountering someone on the horde/alliance for the first time.

    God I miss those times.

  • I missed this game... I say to myself that this game fucking sucks... but it is amazing. I'm 13 so my father no longer lets me play WoW even as I pay for the monthly funds... I miss the amazing magic moments. I don't think I'll ever be able to play again, honestly...

  • 2 ppl don't know anything.

  • T_T Nostalgia.I love the noob feeling this zone has.Magic, good forests, killing kobolds, wondering how the crap i couldnt kill hogger.winning my first duel, seeing lvl 80,s dueling each other endlessly. Now my char(a warlock)is lvl 80,and i hang aorund Goldshire because its where it all started :)

    Sargara.level 80 human warlock

    Terokkar EU

  • i loved this game. i played it so much. but it.. changes you. im a nightelf, finally reached level 40. i used to run and fight with my tauren friend, a level 20. one day, we met up and i just became level 40. then, i saw him there, vulnerable... fishing..

    then i.. i killed him..

i looked at my hands and turned the game off. forever

dont become a jerk. or camper. when you reach a high level, stop playing on that character,

  • @TheKamillaShow ahahahahaha lmao!

  • My god, I remember the 1st time playing wow in back in 06' and hearing this ambient song and getting lost in Elwynn Forest. That feeling of first entering Westfall and Redridge Mountains for the 1st time with my shitty gear. The first impression and 2 weeks of playing this was like a whole different game. Now that I played it a few more months...and I now stopped...its not the same. Haha first impressions never get beat!!! R.I.P Pre-TBC WoW

  • I know it's been said about 6,000 times but seriously..

I'd trade in all my epics, gold, mounts, achievements, level 80 characters for some ignorance, 5 linen cloth, 24 silver and some grey leather armor and maybe a green staff.

  • I play horde but this is my favorite song in game...Besides the belf "In building on sunstrider isle" song...But it has no name..

  • Nostalgia for sure. Leveling my first primary character was like watching a kid grow up. It may be nerdy for the game to be like that for me, but having just started college and being on the way to the "real world", it's all a bigger reason to miss it.

I remember when I crossed the river at the south end of this place and got ripped up by the wolves of Duskwood.

  • I love it!

  • This game was more fun when I was first a noob. I mean seriously think about it. You tend to enjoy the game for what it is. Questing, exploring, and having a good time. Now it's just get to 80 and farm/grind the same heroics and raids for those damn boots. And no matter what you're always a scrub and everyone is just a freakin asshat or internet tough guy.

    I miss vanilla wow. /sigh

  • @DizyD07 You don't miss vanilla wow man.

You miss being an ignorant noob...so does everyone else =(

  • @DizyD07 I hear you man. even tho I started playing after WotLK came out and have only about 5 months of play under my belt, im still a nice player, have incredible tolerance for noobs, spend 50% of my time exploring and hanging out with friends, I vow to never turn into the trolls that are taking over WoW. I see it as people only turn into dickheads when they only do the grinding and raiding, and do almost no relaxing at all. I wish i had known WoW when it first came out like everyone else tho.

  • @zonefrost yes imagen a world where people actually quest with you, on that note, a world where you see more than 1 player per hour XD

more or less i think wotlk is what just slaughtered the values of wow and bc was a nice little extension because it was a main part of the lore =d

  • @WateryIce54321 yeah lol, but thats only half true about the population thing, even though we might only see a few people around questing, theres always half a million people in SW and other cities. true? and as far as the extensions go, thats why I wish I had played before WotLK because i can see how over complicated it made it. not that i dont like it its just a little too much is all. p.s. worgen jump and walk look stupid :P

  • @DizyD07

    a true story...

vanilla wow the best time of the whole game

  • @DizyD07 This has nothing to do with the game changing, this is in each player her/himself. I still enjoy questing, exploring (especially now that the whole 1-60 has been updated - more surprises) and having a good time. I hardly take any part in endgame - why should I? I don't enjoy myself there, nor does my flabby laptop. So I'll roam around on my alts and do some rp in peace, knowing that I'm enjoying every minute I pay for. :)

  • @DizyD07 same here

  • @DizyD07 youre so right !! i really miss this time too ! when i first started playing wow was amazing :) i was discovering the Azeroth with all these beautiful places and there was no reroll stuff and doing donjons to become 80 , no it was just questing and having fun , doing donjons sometimes with a group of friends !! i really miss this time

  • @DizyD07 Oh my gosh yes! When I was a noob I kept getting lost in Westfall. I mean, at first, it seemed so HUGE! Like it was half of the world! I was like "Whoa, how am I gonna survive here?!" Now though...*shakes head sadly*

Vanilla Wow was some of the best. It wasn't getting to 80 or raiding or grinding or anything...it was enjoying the game and being someone else for a little while...

  • @DizyD07

I couldn't agree anymore. =/ One day...there shall be a new game, WoW won't last forever. There will rise one power of gaming & of MMO.

  • @painmaker300 Well hopefully Cata will do that for us. :)

  • Retro-gasm!

  • All my toons have 5.9 - 6k gear scores, so I don't have much time with old world. But from time to time when I'm done in SW from AHing items. I'll sit back and relax, remembering the first time I had set foot in SW back in '06. Seeing people in tier 2 or tier 3 on their mounts.

That was special to me, when being a 'noob' was ok. Thank you for posting this.

  • haaa that was a cool game, this song make me remember like 3-4 years ago, playin so much time... all night to 6am just to have my mount and the lvl60... too much addicting game, dont played this game since... its like drugs, so I stay away ;).

  • sigh... good times

  • @jingenoske Good times indeed... I loved every inch of Elwynn Forest.

  • @painmaker300 yep. that magic gets u hooked. than the further u go the more of a game it becomes. but this music brings the beautifullest memories. not of raiding or that stuff. but of some undescribable moments, old lost friends, simple quests in the first days, magic..

  • WOW! I can't believe I have forgotten this soundtrack. Didn't play WoW for like 1 year, and now when I heard it even my heart started beating faster ;D Incredible times..

  • tu primer pj, tu primera ves en el juego ansios por explorar los vastos lugares del mundo de world of warcraft. Tus inicios, tus primeras amistades. Que tiempos aquellos que no regresaran... Lo siento si mi inglés es malo.

  • im gonna train my worgen in there

  • this is one of the things that made wow felt magical. the music sounds like its crying like everything is lost but it has a feeling of hope attached to it like its telling a story or something xD very awesome gives me memories. i can remember playing for the first time its like stepping in a other world away from reality. very awesome.

i think blizzard needs to work on these kind of elements in cataclysm to bring more life into it. love the game

  • Blizzard would be very smart to make Vanilla WoW servers, or at least BC servers.

  • this feeling will never return again.

my eyes were teary immediately as i heard this music...

  • @lusteraliaszero *Sigh* i couldn´t agree more :,(

  • it was so nice in old days when i didnt know how to set bars :D it was ... u know what i mean :/

  • i love this song . Remember my first char and the big world!

  • i like the dun morogh one beta, prob cuz my first char was a gnome mage,i remember me and my bud fliped out when i got arcane missles, lol. thats prob the bigest problem in wow for me, its an rpg, yet there is very little role playing.

  • It was a boring thursday evening when i first installed the trial game.

i visited this huge unknown world. what first was distance became interest and finally love. this wasn't just a game and since i put emotion to every deeply touching detail like the music which was buried passion, i developped a strong connection with goldshire as my home. now that i listen to this sounds i feel these touching mysterious experiences i made this long time ago and enjoy it with a bit of grief. like i lost love

  • I remember when I first started playing... everything was fun and I barely had a clue about anything. Then I started raiding/arena'ing and became a total know-it-all asshole. /sigh I miss those days.

  • That music... It brought a tear to my eye =,(

  • I thought i was crazy for cry...........now I know that there´re more people with this feeling

  • Wow thinking back to those first months of playing is great. I remember when I first entered the game, I miss those moments but it just lost its fun as soon as I stopped being a noob and learned to play. Everything is just more exciting when you don't know whats going on.

  • I don't know about you guys, but for me, playing WOW was like hooking up to your Avatar and escaping into a new world. It was a completely magical experience.

  • miss those days ... like the day we get lost in stormwind ...and the first day were you run out of northshire at lvl 3 to explore and get killed and just get lost farewell wow i miss you

  • ...

  • ...

  • All of us saying things like, "good memories" have been on it too long. lol but i admit I remember starting out with my human... when i was captured in the game, real good times

  • I miss when i was a newbie in elwynn :C i was a druid then, around level 10, started questing in elwynn :3 i MISS those times! but now i know where and what evrything is, and its boring, miss exploring it :<

  • @Althalaxx

be sure to visit elwynn forest before the deadly cataclysm destroys it!

  • I agree :(

Love the golden age of WoW 2005-2007.

  • painmaker300 you're soooo right :(

  • dam good times!

  • This is a place that just doesnt get old

  • haha brings back some good memories :)

  • Ahh .. for those who whant to go back to wow , Its that first time you wanna get back , those first few months when it was like magic .. its not coming back .. time to mouv on my friends . I much i would like to play that moment again ..

  • @Spiritedbuddha

    Fuck, yes

  • @Spiritedbuddha

WoW was my first MMORPG and I didn't know anything about that genre before I got WoW. I bought it because some friends recommended it and I started playing from the beginning in February 2005 (release in Europe was on 02/2004) and it was like magic. I've never seen something like that before.

    I don't play it anymore since 2007

  • @Spiritedbuddha

It was the greatest game experience in my fucking life and I'm sure that I never gonna feel that magic in any other game again.

    It's so sad.

sry. released in Europe on 02/2005. My mistake but it 's not so important ^^

YouTube sucks. Had to split my comment into two to be able to post it.

  • I agree. The first few months i played this game, i was in elwynn forest. It was amazing and the zone felt huge at the time. Now, I'm working on a video that's gonna show how elwynn forest looks like, before the cataclysm destroys it. And the zone feels much smaller now, probably cuz back then when i played it i didn't have a mount and i couldn't travel very well but now i have a 100% mount so i can just run around the zone. So yeah. The video is coming soon! Be sure to check it out.

  • @Spiritedbuddha Agreed. I remember first starting this i believe it was 5 years ago when i was still in middle school.

Best video game times of my life.

You're so right about this one.
