i wasn't watching super close the entire time, but i didn't see any bites in there you should throw off a couple of those when your other stuff is up, roar can be popped with only one combo point if need be on the next round

Bite should only be used by very skilled feral druids. Otherwise are you going to ruin your rotation. Shred only costs 7 energy more and should crit for 10k+ raidbuffed. (Then the boss is at low op you should ofc use Bite over a Rip)

i realize it can mess up a lot of stuff, but ive found positions where i have 5 combo points and nothing needs to get refreshed besides rake, sometimes ill pop a bite with a tigers fury right after to combat the energy loss

My biggest issue is energy. When I pop berserk I hit in upwards of 7k, but without it's only like 4.4. Much more practice I need. I also have like 57% crit.

Because I raid and there are very frequent times when a tank dies and I have to go bear and hold a boss for a few seconds until the tank can get a brez. Think about it for a second.

Raelcun nice vid,but didnt get the point why stack 3 exprt. gems on chest, btw what is your arp cap? I know that for a good feral to be u need 600(not included the trinket arp proc) otherwise u need that shred dmg increased idol. Nice vid, great for starters

That was because at the time I was very short on Expertise and was getting dodged a lot the cap is 26 to not get dodged. While being capped is not required for a cat being at least close to the cap is beneficial.

if you download rawr it will tell you the best gems to socket and show you how good they are. the best enchanants etc..

Rawr doesn't know SHIT for socketing a feral druid sorry. The enchants are good but it gets gems wrong.

You have to set Rawr with the gems you want to socket, i.e. set up custom gemming with ArP gems and it will recommend them. And if you do that when you look for upgrades with will socket ArP accordingly. It just sets the default to Agi, Agi/Stam, Agi/(Crit) < i think

Armor pen is very aidfull for pve ;D certenly the most important staf. The cap is 1400. So u can ignore 100% of the boss armor :)

agility is better than armorpen until you have a certain amount of armorpen on your gear. Once you can get above 500-600 you should start gemming for it.

Some of it is just luck on clearcasts and criticals feral dps spikes up and down very unpredictably due to the uneveness of criticals and clearcasts.

yeah, your dps relies very heavily on critting, unlike a lot of classes who rely on a 35-45 percent you should be up higher around 60

My personal opinion is, that you know your class very well, also this guide is pretty nice. 4/5, I think you need to fix up your UI. I don't doubt you are an exceptional raider, but good UI makes things even better. For example, you are blocking at least 30% of your view with that bottom bar with action buttons. Also there is unnecesary numbers underneth the ( ) thingy showing your and target's HP even tho you have x-perl unit frames and more. You can contact me and we can make an UI 4 you :)

Theres a few variables that come into play when considering whether its better to gem arp or agi. The best way to do it is to google toskk's calculator. It can tell you which is better, and how much dps gain you'll get from it.

Just to let you know, MoTW is a buff. Self buffs are still being buffed. When people say "unbuffed" it means they have no castable buffs on their character.

It's a buff that I will always have, even if I die midfight I will rebuff it on myself and go cat and usually hit my drums of forgott kings. For raiding purposes I'm unbuffed when I have MoTW because it is an effect that is always present. Technically Cat form and Master Shapeshifter are buffs too but again they're -always- there so they fall under that category.

you have 3 expertise gems, get rid of them. you dont need to be hit/exp capped as a feral druid.

This is true, there is no need to be at the cap. I personally run 20 expertise and 7.99% hit, was running 6.5% for a long time.

There are times you could've used Ferocious Bite.

Keep in mind, when there is more than 8 seconds on both your savage roar and rip, and you're sitting on 5 combo points, then you can probably throw in a ferocious bite. You can reapply a 2-3 combo savage roar, and then go for a 5 point Rip after that. You may have a Tiger's fury to help you recover. After that, your next step would be to go for a full 5 point savage roar.

God, so much is going on with feral DPS, it's really hard to keep track of all 3 bleeds and savage roar. Especially since most stuff seems to be reactionary. I guess it's something that just gets perfected with practice

Cat damage spikes a lot between attempts usually solidly above 6k on a fight where I dont have to interrupt my rotation by switching targets excessively. If I can stay on Gormok or Jaraxxus or Anub etc I can get over 7k semi regularly and it spikes over 8k occasionally just on random clearcast luck etc.

Oh and those numbers are with a manglebot or an arms warrior so that I don't have to mangle. Without said such manglebot knock those numbers down about 500 dps.

My buttons are set up differently, mangle rip and rake are set to Target Aura, Savage Roar is Self Aura same as Tiger's Fury and Berserk. With TF and Berserk you could also set it to cooldown and it would show you how long until you can use it again instead of it's duration.

@ SSJ2Prince - You should never open with any of the standard "openers" they are an energy dump and nothing good comes of it.

As for Rael, why would you not use berserk right after TF. Sure the buff doesnt stay but you gain the nescesary energy to properly use Berserk. You honestly never should get above 85 Energy with out using TF.

Question though, and i saw it a few times, which move is it that you never want to let fall off completely? Rake or mangle? I thought it was rake.

Honestly it's debateable but mangle is a little bit better because with mangle up you can use a clearcast for a shred if you have enough energy to refresh rake when it falls off. Letting it fall off completely is good because it ticks for damage right when it expires.

Being able to use Tiger's Fury and Berserk independantly results in higher theoretical max dps. Though while learning the rotation its better just to use them together. Set bonuses that extend lengths of roar, rake etc help.

I'd just like to add in addition to your information. I thought that Berserk gets rid of the damage bonus of Tiger's Fury, I don;t use them together anymore because of that reason, the only thing I find Tiger's fury useful for if you're going to pop Berserk immediately after is that you basically get full energy in which you use during the half energy ability. Was just pointing it out in case that was missed out. I think it does this anyway :P
