I figured out how the CP's work in this version after alot of frustration and gameplay.i noticed that every 1st match is as difficult as the coresponding mk tournament dificulty u select. the second match, they kick your ass so fast you dont get the chance to say ...the fuck???. then the ONLY way to fix it is by SELECTING A NEW CHARACTER, going in, then raping the CP. then u get raped, choose new character, rape it back. repeat. annoying as fuck.
I really love MK3 and although Im not very good at the game, I do think that the combat system is very unbalanced. Sometimes the CPU will just go sick on you and it gives you no offence what so ever. It would happen each time I faced Kurtis, Kabal or even Sonya.!
Playing the game with Smoke in the SNES version is so fucking impossible. Even if you played on the easiest setting the enemies will rape your ass in less than 20 seconds.
The AI in this game is pretty bad, but it's actually somewhat bearable on medium mode, and if you turn off throws (CPU's love to use throws). But still, it's waaaaaaaaay better than Ultimate Mortal Kombat on the DS.
@Okoa ..what?? do you even own that game? i do and the cpu is excelent. depending on your settings, the games dificulty varies, and the CPU's gradually get harder and harder..its an "Arcade perfect" port according to..everybody..it was excellent..you need to buy it to know for your self :D

Setting UMK3 or Trilogy to very easy doesnt help either with the arcade... Its a beatable game (with a few characters) but the gameplay isn't fun as you have to do the same retarded methods to beat the opponent. I wish there was a way to use Mk3's AI instead in UMK3 - I think the arcade MK3 had the perfect balance for a fair gameplay against the computer.

The kabal combo which involves the saw could not be performed on MK3 (jap) version as it was way too fast. There is a huge and noticable speed difference between that and MK3 (europe) version.

i think the mega drive version is better as far as audio is concerned, in this version shao kahn sounds like he has put a bag over his head, but what gives this version an advantage over the mega drive version is, at least the first fight is easy, and the controls are better so its easier to finish combos

kinnegadxlad first problem you can solve is you are playing on the lowest difficulty and the ai is programmed to be an asshole and when I was a noob at the game I played on that difficulty solution pick someone that isn't going to have to fight jade ever or sub-zero and then die and switch charactors problem solved and noobed game up x10

Actually Kabal's Ground Saw can be done in UMK3, however he can no longer do one after spinning someone, taking out all of the saws usefullness.
