  • I wish they still made these panels, or have information on them. There great panels. I put RFID in mine :)

  • Wow that was some antique stuff.

  • @MrHughco yea pretty old stuff but it works!

  • whos it monitored by

  • @MOconnorclan I honestly have no idea.

  • nice quality! :) wat kind of camerea do u have?

  • Its time for an upgrade. Love the voice dialers though, I have one myself.

  • @localizeractive lol true

  • Hahahah I love how the mom is just casually doing the dishes while all this chaos is going on XD

  • @steven5x18x hahah i know

  • 2:14 - 2:17 - who knew Dracula was doing voice acting for these things? :D

  • @travelsonic lmao true

  • Do you think the non-dracula-sounding voice is the same guy who does the talking sirens that go "Burglary! Burglary! Burglary! You have violated an area protected by ... a security system... leave immediately!"? (see youtube(dot)com/watch?v=ra1xtw-I2C0, for example) - sure sounds like the same guy to me.

  • Correct me if i'm wrong but aren't alarm Systems in america equipt with a tamper switch, Surely the panel has to have one.

Also what is the trigger on the panel N.O or N.C?

In the UK We tamper protect everything to do with the system from the panel to the internal siren, Not a single thing is without a tamper circuit, Even the Panic Button.

  • @KitCloudkickerUK

Tamper switches are optional everywhere, USA and UK. Dealer and buyer's choice. Most USA dealers tamper business panels, but many don't see the need in homes where the panel is usually hidden. Most home inside sirens aren't in cabinets. Most modern panic buttons are wireless. I think you may be comparing old tech with new rather than USA with UK.

The loops to the doors/windows etc are all closed-loop, open to fault.

NO and NC useage is confusing in the alarm industry.

  • ''is it gonna be loud? NOBODY ANSWERS ME!'' hhaha

  • LOL that was my sister panicing LOL

  • Thats an ELK 110 Siren Driver- I'm getting one for my birthday on saturday.

  • Oh cool. OLD VID, is sound retarded lol. Happy b-day yo!

  • omggg my house had tht same alarm.. but we got a new one. lol hi-tech security from ADT

  • Hey I don't know everything. I only pointed it out because some people really don't know. I don't know what your local laws are. Sorry if I've offended you.

BTW, I'm not too familiar with Moose. Only seen them in the stack of old alarm panels at the shop I worked at (I used to install burg panels.) What's the toggle switch in the box for?

  • Yeah, you're supposed to call central before testing, lol!

A good way to test if the alarm is hooked up to the phone line correctly is to perform a communications test with central. I can't find the installation manual which should say how that's done. Otherwise, call central and tell them you are testing then pick up your phone and test the system, the line should go dead. Clearly it's already dialing out. Do you have DSL? maybe you need a DSL filter for the RJ31X jack in the panel.

  • I know. My dad wanted to test the company if they would call. Thank you for the info.

  • nice house

  • Thank you. You probably didn't see but the kitchen was redone. You have a cool house too.

  • man this is funny! the driver is ELK, right?

  • Thank you! ELK is correct. It says it on the board in the panrl.

  • good becouse i am getting a recordable siren driver by ELK.

  • i'm gonna take a screw driver to the ELK driver in my Z1100R and get an ADEMCO to replace it.

  • Sounds good

  • yeah, the one i have is a looping slow-yelp that just scares the living shit out of you and anybody else. hell, the cops were afraid to go into my house.

  • @FireAlarmTech96 Not "panrl". It's "panel". Sorry, justcorrecting you.

  • @mikemadealarms yes it was a typo im aware

  • Awesome! You should show the fire portion of the system. LOL, the police thing. That must have not been good.

  • It wasn't! I hid in the basement. I was scared to death! I not sure about that. I would have to wait a few months before asking my dad again!
