I can't really comment on "Which is better" based on this because it is only a sampling of each and I do like parts of both decades. If it was 80s vs 90s i'd say 80s and I am partial to 80s and believe Iwas born in the wrong decade... and most of the music I listen to isn't so popular.... but much of what was actually popular in the 80s I don't like too... ie George Micheal, Tiffany. I think we tend to only pull from the 80s what we actually like and forget about the rest idealizing the culture.
