Why do they use sequential shifting in WTCC/DTM and other similar classes unlike some sports that still use the H-pattern shifting? I know it's faster but that takes out the elemental factor of racing, doesn't it?

Oh my gosh - as stupid as can be.

Ok - the first crash was just a normal race accident, but at 1:10 it was just stupid and unnessecary. Just like the situation at 3:25 - overtaking when there is no space is idiotic.

Sure, this is WTCC and some collisions are ok, but not like that - this looks more like a destruction derby.

I agree, bit of a shame that alot of the Touring car series around the world, have become more and more destro derbies... But i think the problem is that young drivers are "smart asses", with huge egos and too much self confidence.. They're always showing off, and they're are going to be F1 Champion in a few years.. And when the results arent really showing.. they pretend to take more risks, to keep up with the expectations they've created.. which ends in more stupid crashes..

A fine example at that is A. Farfus.. Hes this young guy with a huge ego, and really smartass attitude.. Lately his results havent been that good, and hes been causing alot of crashes with headless attempts of passing..

Tho the incident at 3:25, is the chevrolet's fault (looks like its larini, not sure.) he simply leaves the inside open, for the seat to attack, and he outbrakes him, and is in a position to overtake. Larini is to late to realise this, and tries to close the door, which results in the crash.. The Chevrolet is the one to blame.
