Always thought of this song as using negative space in songwriting. By explaining how *most* of the time, this 'she' doesn't effect him at all....he implies that some of the time, just every once in a while, she completely wrecks him. Any hack songwriter can tell a story with the words he says...when you can tell a story with the words you *don't* say? That's power, right there.

I've been listening to Dylan since 65', and what makes him so special is his ability to express the deepest emotions we all feel... yet are simply incapable of articulating in an intelligible manner. He is without question the most gifted poet that's ever lived.
