  • There's a lot to say about this video. If we're setting aside the kool-aid jar and buying in, then there are a few things. First, I don't understand why this is deemed a "kata" and done in a gi. Because a few strikes and kicks are worked in? If this is to be considered realistic and valuable as a training evolution, it needs to be done in "real world," environments and accoutrements. Historically, the gi actually mirrored clothing of the time. Such is not the case, now.

  • @PaladinPress this looks somewhat like shotokan, is it?

  • @acrocanthosaurus4 Thanks for the question. I'd feel better directing you to the author. Please contact Soke Jeff Hall at forceoptions (dot) net/HJ_bios.php. If you're unable to reach him, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

  • I have to say it. Gun Kata.

  • @erdnallewen Equilibrium

  • @erdnallewen A little respect please.

Don,t compare this Kata to something fake out of a fantasy movie.

This Kata is more than thousand years old.

  • Weaver? This must be a truly ancient art.

  • Why he clear with the gun pointing down? one of the hand gun rules is always point at the treat! other comet why dont point the gun in the correct firing position not one hand extended and the other one not!

why you dosent include SUL position is proven efective

    Regards

  • Great stuff! Quiet strength!!!

  • WOW!!! this looks so cool. I have favourited this video!

  • I believe this is the best video clip I've seen from Paladin Press!

  • @wmpyr Definitely one of the better clips.

However I must say that I never made a bad purchase from paladin, even if the purchase clip was perhabs less then inviting. Then again, I really let a lot of time pass and think it trough - turn the coin in my hand many times as the saying goes - before i make a purchase decision. But like i sid: so far only winners among my paladin buys.

    take care

    silk

  • Wow!!! That looks cool as hell,
