"Humboldt County needs all the culture it can get...Southern California just doesn't have the kind of culture we're looking for" is rather contradictory.
I thought Humboldt was supposed to be a pretty liberal, laid back area. I know Southern Californians are generally quite materialistic, but you guys seem to be generalizing a bit and are almost even hypocritical for ripping on them.
