Really? You can watch a parody movie go on for four hours but a good two hours of philosophy makes you cry. Pisses me off. The whole point of all of those segments is to show that its extremely true (true to a fault, if you agree with them) to the graphic novel, but everyone who hasn't read the graphic novel will not appreciate this fact.

I normally disagree with Rotten Tomatoes, Space Odyssey doesn't deserve a 96%, I mean they were complaining length in Watchmen, from my recollection 2001 is one of the longest films I've seen.

watchmen (the movie) rocks. anyone who thinks it's too long needs to read the graphic novel to realize how much stuff zack couldn't fit in. the movie (for me at least) brought the comic alive in a way i didn't think possible.
