@Lubis5 its from a saying. it was like, Bites the dust. When you fall you get dirt in ur mouth. Its even in a song, Another one bites the dust. thus, "I bit it."

@TheNova5 Nah, there really is "I ate it". It's when you faceplant on the ground, or if you're surfing in the water. It's like eating dirt, when you fall face first, it's like eating dirt, or pavement, or water, or whatever you just fell on. Therefore I ate it.

It is a skater lingo. Kinda like "I bit the dust." or "to bite it." I hear "I ate it" all the time.
