It has been my ambition to travel the globe and party with everyone and see different traditions on New Year's Eve. New York, Times Square was a great place to be for that occasion, but London is the epicentre of the New Year's Day build-up - it has to be said. Fireworks, traditions, the people, the party, the laughter, the rejoice... it was amazing.

interesting fact. I was there in Times Square the day before while they were rehearsing for the show.

The ticking sound effects played for the last 60 seconds, the famous 10 second countdown with all the people saying ten nine eight etc., is prerecorded into the soundbite.

I guess they did it so people could count it down on cue.
