  • Use full automation and computerized robot driven-automation CAD/CAM around your manpower base with heavy emphasis on constant jobs skills education and training upgrading. Restore American education back to it's heavy emphasis on academic learning and critical thinking and classical education that it used to be.

  • Look at my Russia's Uralmash which is Russia's Factory of factories. Start from the key critical basic infra-technostructural components of a complete industrial economic base like machine tools, heavy engineering, machine building, scientific R&D, hard educational engineering and scientific schools, technological, technical, and vocational schools, etc with strict 100% American content.

  • Vertically integrated manufacturing policies must be 100% enforced so that all manufacturing starts from locally available raw materials to the locally manufactured products and using only American manpower to do it. No outsourcing of any work, especially with highly sensitive ultra-high tech systems and products and their servicing manpower.

  • Restoring American manufacturing jobs requires a Hamiltonian non-monetary credit-based Government owned and controlled banking system to supply the credit and tax credit for a complete American economic re-industrialization program in order to manufacture everything vertically that you are importing now.

  • Donald Trump is that candidate

  • I am a liberal by nature but I love this guys ideas. Why cant more conservatives be like this! I have been studying this issue for a few months and i believe he is absolutely right we need to make legislation that will keep well paying manufacturing jobs in America. This means standing up to corporate interests and ending free trade. Anyone who pledges to do that will have my vote.

  • One way, to deal with illegal immigration is to punish those who hire the illegals. THINK about it.

  • These guys act like wages are just some arbitrary thing that foreign politicians decide. They don't realize that wages reflect productivity- and you can't legislate that other people be more productive in a trade agreement. This guy is no economist, he doesn't know the first thing. And if you want to close the trade deficit, raise the savings rate. Savings-investment=exports-imports. Spread the word.

  • @hoodoo961 : your equation can also be interpreted that by reading right to left. That by restricting imports will raise your savings rate. How does one achieve economics of scale ?

  • @Dan4CW Yes, I have thought about that before, but it makes little sense: do you really think Americans consume so much of their incomes because of imports? We have a savings problem in the United States, not an import problem. The trade deficit reflects a lack of saving and foreigner's desire to park their savings in our markets. If that were not the case, the dollar would have lost it foreign exchange value a long time ago.

  • This is absolute nonsense. I need real research for my paper. Not two crackheads arguing reaganonmic highways and fences.

  • @TheSullivanInk If you want some real information about trade ect, check out Paul Krugman's Pop Internationalism.

  • Now they are talking to the Chinese about bidding on building our high speed rail systems in the United States. Have we just completely lost our god damn minds.

  • How can you shut down plants, forfeit manufacturing, and then expect to have all the unemployed be considered candidates to buy those same products...they have no jobs and no purchasing power.

You can blame the shareholders of American companies for wanting bigger dividend checks at the expense of losing jobs and off shoring everything.

  • Live to work

    Work to live

    Thats just slavery

Capitalism, has sent the greatest amount of working class(middle class) to poverty in modern history.

It divides by denying you food on your table.

  • There are some media/radio shows that talk about the evils of Nafta.. Tom Hartman, Ed Shultz, Norman Goldman to name a few.. But I do not think any politicians will do away with Nafta becaue there is just too much corporate money in politics. Doesn't matter who you vote for, they all are owned by the same corporations.

  • It's weird that NAFTA was pretty much designed to help a lot of jobs float away to hold up Mexico's government, yet their country is still unable or unwilling to help their own citizens. And they encourage their poorest to come here to rip us off. Yes, NAFTA was a terrific idea! For everyone else but us! And everything sold in Wally World is made in China. If you can find it anywhere anymore, buy American.

  • its true that i'll own americans are selling us out..... but they dont care, its about money and how 2 make more of it!..... the president can not fix the economy becuz he has little say in the economy, that has to deal with the federal reserve. they control the supply of money and inflation. once we start to wake up and start educating ours selves is the second we take our country back... ya'll wanna know how to fix the economy. shut down the federal reserve and throw those monsters behind bars

  • If everything weren't made in india/china I could get a job making something... so true.

  • The policies and practices we had before WWII are the ones that built America and made it the greatest nation in the history of the world. What we've had since WWII are policies to systematically weaken and dismantle America's strengths.

Of course, it's always been spun as being for our own good. Well, the Jews were told going to the camps was for their good too. The wolves in sheep's clothing will always say that.

  • Agreed

  • Restore the National Tariff/Import Tax. It's the traditional trade policy of the Republican Party prior to the mid-1970s.

    Go Nationalist.

    'Pro-Family, Stewardship, & Fair Trade'

  • i love this guy, i have two of his books

    go pat

  • The first step is to legalize American manufacturing in the first place. We currently face extreme regulations when it comes to starting factories. We need to get rid of those first.

  • Pat Choate is a true American nationalist and patriot :)

  • How true, but big media is controlled by whom, the 1 %ers !! They divide you, and then your left with youself. Not everyone is your brother or sister. Give what else, all bs.

  • I hope so. but how r they going to get rich people to bring back industry. McCain said it will not be coming back., with a smile. Make new industry, only to be sold out again and again. Maybe first thing is to have the correct people in power, laws to bring back old laws? Make new laws that keep jobs here maybe, but then they will cry protectionism. When really its exploitation and oppression. Everyone should have the right to work here who is here legally first.

  • Do you remember when America was #1, before NAFTA, before WTO? American cars were the king of the road and in demand worldwide. Boeings were 100% made in USA. Food grown/made in USA-and the few food imports were from safe countries.

The financial collapse hit hard because we have much less manufacturing to produce real national wealth.

We must return to what made America great. Scrap the treaties. Buy American to support American jobs. Never buy Chinese products or food. Save USA jobs!

  • your average liberal,..." Well, America being #1 is just not fair. we need to 'equalize' America, and bring it down to size"

the problem with our sytstem is that both parties are in agreement on protectionism, (ie:there should not be any).

the Democrat party gets its immigrants as voters, and 'big business'/'country club Republicans get there cheap labor.

consrvative media like Rush L. and Fox news will not speak on the issue (with a conservative viewpoint).

  • @TCCTV If boeing had EVERY part on their aircraft made in the United states. They'd probably go bankrupt instantly. Not even the 747 made in the 60's had 100% American parts. Because if it did the aircraft would be almost impossible to build. Parts need to be fabricated and manufactured all across the globe inroder for the aircraft to actually be made. The Wings on the new 787 Are made and manufactured by Mitsubishi heavy industries. It's a really good aircraft BTW.

  • @TCCTV i agree to manufacture more american products by Americans in america.

  • india is even poorer than africa for most of its people and china has kids working in sweatshops for peanuts and they got all our manufactoring jobs!

  • i feel like im in the 80's watching this video, lol!

  • We DON"T HAVE FREE TRADE! NAFTA IS QUITE PROTECTIONIST IF YOU READ THE AGREEMENT!

  • People don't want to support home grown jobs because either they feel americans have attitudes or they want to cut corners at every angle. They want to hire the mexican, or buy stuff thats cheap which is made in asia. We need asian countries to play by the rules and stop enslaving people with cheap labor.

  • There are no rules. We need to have free trade but maintain our self determination. We need to purge the communist sympathizers from our government and schools.

At the schools I went to, all of the major staffers were communist sympathizers and Transcendentalists.

  • We sent all our jobs over seas and paid for the shipping!

  • Yep we're retards like that. Just sending jobs away and giving tax breaks to people that leave. lol

  • it did create the boom in the 90's and 2002-2007, but now it's time to pay the pipper!

  • Well I'm not sure what your opinion on this is but if we have no money to buy their products wasn't it a bad move to move, won't it just come back around to bite them in the ass in the long run? Yeah they got cheap labor and made bookoo bucks but after a certain amount of time that's gonna end isn't it?

  • Send our factories & technical jobs to foreign countries, import foreign labor by the millions yearly and allow products that foreign corporations that pay little to their employees far less.

We've been complacent too long. Nudge those next to you, and awaken them!!

  • This is what I've been saying for years.

I had hoped that Obama would do what he said about punishing the employers who outsource. He lied.

  • Barack HUSSEIN Obama wants GREEN jobs...what an idiot

  • It's the schools. The schools always promote Communism and anti-production by forbidding studying technology independently and requiring the praise of multiculturalism. Destroy Horace Mann's legacy and you'll go far.

However, we need to industrialize without protectionism. Protectionism, like steel tariffs, would make industrial products more expensive and would hurt re-industrialization. We should have a Grover Cleveland type government.

  • support the tax credit for home school/private school/charter school.

  • nazi browncoats = obama greencoats!

  • I firmly agree with these too.

  • well your HOPE didn't cut it!!

do you 'belive in change'?? hahaha!!!

  • I don't understand why your response ended up to me.

    I'm on the conservative/USA side.
