Ive got the exact same set up on my 06 and I can attest to the fact that it sounds much louder. To quote jeremy clarkson it sounds like "a norse god gargling hammers"

Manual transmissions suffer from less power loss through the drivetrain than automatics so they are more powerful. Also it provides the driver with the opportunity to shift at the optimum shifting RPM which on the stock 05+ Mustang is at about 5700 RPM

did you have to get O2 extensions? I just ordered a set of JBA headers and O/R H pipe from AM. I asked the rep but he couldnt give me a definate answer

Yeah i did. You shouldn't have ordered from AM, you can find them alot cheaper else where. Oh well. Good luck.

what brand o/r h-pipe do you have?

JBA. You have to use the same mid pipe as the headers. It is possible to use a different one, but you have to cut/weld and all that bs.
