If you think Romney's religion is why people are voting against him, check out Romney's debate with Ted Kennedy in 1994. It's not that he's Mormon, it's that he has no core, guiding principle. McCain, for example, has the maxim that "all men are created equal." Romney has no similar maxim other than winning elections; hence his flip-flopping.
