Also have to admit if I were into playing Guitar Hero(I've tried it and it's fun, but I'm not so good at it, LOL), this is certainly one of the first songs I'd want to play on there! Never let any crabby old snobs discourage you from having fun. :P

I happen to be a Television fan from waaaay back, and I'm NOT mortified that someone else who loves the band would want to play their songs, either on real instruments or on toy ones. And they're not mutually exclusive. Some great music includes toys.

guitar hero is a fun game to play and thats all that matters. how is putting the song out on videogames degrading it? rock music's greatest hypocrisy is its fans' thirst for "authenticity", which is just as ridiculous (if not more so) as the caricatured 3d models that grace the screen.

I think I understand. So, you don't like that many people who play GH/RB casually only like songs on the games? I can understand that. That simply means that rock, metal, and progressive (or really any form of rock) is not their kind of music. Those songs are just familiar to them. Or maybe they just don't like music that much.

I know people like this, who only like music on GH/RB. It is sad that they restrict thier listening to the games, although some of the music IS good.

Actually, statistics have come out showing that the incredible popularity of these music games (guitar hero, rock band, whathaveyou) have led to a HUGE increase in the sale of real instruments. There is a positive in technology, you know. It's all about exposure.
